r/mde is a community of religious anarcho-primitivst traditionalist philosophers heavily inspired by f*scist aesthetics that use post-ironic, esoteric comedy to spread their ideas and recruit edgy nihilists, scat enthusiasts and right-wingers, encouraging them to subscribe to the philosophy of finding motivation in self-induced isolation and emotional detachment from contemporary society, which is mocked for being superficial, apathetic and degenerate, philosophy that leads to a form of transcendence so revolutionary, so extreme and original that even those on the same side of the political spectrum can't comprehend it.
TL;DR: a terrible alt-right comedy show that ripped off Tim & Eric
So I decided to post this in parts. This time I'm gonna write about why I think the current version of Romania isn't that realistic and how I envision the political climate of KR Romania post-WWI.
First off, Royalist Romania needs to be scrapped, for a number of various reasons. As it is, it's led by Carol II, who was one of the most unpopular and hated leaders in Romanian history. Needless to say, in a world where the Royal House dragged Romania into war and lost, Carol II shouldn't even be considered as a serious option. However, his son, Michael was only 6 when Ferdinand I died. The perfect age to be used as a puppet figurehead have a regent act as a counsellor for the young king.

Essentially I was doing research for a potential list of suggestions for Romania, which turned into an unofficial rework, with five different political paths, two economic ones, a mixed diplomatic-military branch (make some allies, buy some guns), a rewritten lore that's more plausible (in my opinion) and several continuity issues fixed (mainly related to Transylvanians holding offices in Romania, even though the Union never took place). I initially wanted to write them down into this very post, but I got to about 5000 characters and I was only about a quarter in (explanations and reasoning for the changes I suggested made it so long), so I gave up.
What do I do? How do I post it all withou
This was initially a comment, but u/mphjackson7 convinced me to make it it's own (shit)post.
So, the Civil War starts.
Totalists get gangraped by everyone. From the depths of hell, a weak voice shouts out: NAZBOL GANG NEVER DIES.
RadSoc, Syndies, SocDems and SocLibs form a front. They eventually lose, despite numerical advantage, because many of them never fired a weapon before. They also segregate based on race, gender, sexual orientation and disabilities so that everyone can have their own safe space.
AuthDems, PatAuts and NatPops form another. They eventually lose because everyone else hates them, and because their elite troops, the HH (they say it comes from Hooks and Helicopters, b
My PSU broke so I can't go and check the spooky ones. Thanks in advance.
...upkeep is too high. Either that on generals or that on regular troops. Now, I understand the concept of not being able to field 20 Steam Tank or Terrorgeist stacks, but I find that in most of my campaigns I can't field more than 2-3, sometimes 4 armies, and even then, 1 is good, one is decent, and the other two can't even take on a walled city's garrison. Why is this a problem?
Because I can't defend my borders effectively, I can't attack on more than two fronts or more than three targets in the same turn, even if I'm supposed to be a huge empire with the biggest army the world has ever seen. It's frustrating having Beastmen or Dwarves running all over the place and sacking and razing ev
Let me preface by saying that I have no modding experience with HoI IV or Darkest Hour what-so-ever, which is why I don't expect any of this stuff to be actually implemented.
Also, this is the short version. If the devs like the ideas, I can develop them (I already have ideas, but it's not worth it spending so much time writing about stuff that won't get added, when I would much rather focus on the interesting parts that people actually wany to see).

I have lots of mods, some of them conflict, my game crashes on start-up. It's a slog trying to find out which ones cause it. Do the .mdmp files help at all? If so, what do I need to read them? If not, is there another way?
Edit: I'm retarded, I had too many mods enabled at the same time.
Like, things you know aren't going to happen, but you'd love if it were added.
I'm a Vampire player mostly, so here's my list:
1.Von Carstein having the ability to confederate with the Empire.
Vlad, unlike Mannfred, is on pretty good terms with both Balthazar Gelt and Karl Franz during the End Times.
I know, I know, heresy. But, imo it is one of the most in-character things that the End Times did. Vlad wants to be Emperor, sure, but as a massive fanboy I can't help but think that getting there the legitimate way is just as satisfying to him as raising a dead army and becoming Emperor through force.
Maybe recruitment could be tied to the lord, so a human has access to imperial troo
I was so fucking hyped for the TWW2 announcement, and now I'm even more hyped. Jesus. Anyways, I'm starving for content and I'm wondering when do you think they'll announce/release the last FLC for game 1?
Yes, there are mods out there that do that. Unfortunately they are start pos mods, which means they aren't compatible with many good mods, especially overhauls.
It really sucks to capture Drakenhof as Von Carstein, or even Altdorf and still use Schwartzwhatever as the capital when it's not even a major city. Also, Crooked Moon and Clan Angrund. Their whole campaign is centered around capturing one city and nothing happens after. I really don't want to sound like an entitled prick, but it honestly doesn't make any sense. It would increase immersion a lot if we could do this. :(
Now that we've seen functional subfactions, such as Wurrzag's Savage Orcs or Durthu's Wood Elves do you think that the VC will be split later on between Vlad's faction and Mannfred's faction? Or do you think that they'll stay as they are now? Which would you prefer, and why?
