I've been contacted recently by a company saying that I may receive some money from an inheritance. They've not given me an amount but I don't think it's going to be vast amounts but maybe somewhere in the thousands or not much more than ten thousand. I'm expecting this to affect my benefits (I know it affects it if it's over 6000). I want to do the right thing so I wanted to check before I make any mistakes.

How does reducing my benefits work? I know they will expect me to use my inheritance to live on for a bit, but at what point do they stop requiring that? Will it be when my money is reduced enough to be below the 6k limit or is it over so much time?

Am I allowed to spend the money o

So, someone I am worried about have been told they need a check up including diabetes and asthma. The only issue is they don't want a diabetes check, they don't want bloods taken of such because without going into great detail, they don't want to have to speak to the diabetes nurse and I agree it is in their best interest not to. The only issue is, the practice is now refusing to supply all meds if they don't do the check and the person is having to wean themselves off the meds. I understand the importance of the check up, especially for asthma when the person in question has asthma and takes medication for asthma but they don't have or take medication for diabetes. Is it possible, if we agr

Long story short, I've been off sick for a long time due to mental health and a bereavement. Work was very understanding to start, but after so many months, I felt pressure to return. I don't blame them, I was off sick for a long time and they did either need me to return or assess whether returning is a possibility. I was also worried about dropping to statutory sick pay. I tried to return a couple times but was not well enough to and I had a lot on my plate with new responsibilities at home. In the end, it was just easier to quit for various reasons so I did. Because of that, I have two main concerns:

First off, my revalidation is due next summer, whilst that is about a year away, I don'

In one of the episodes when Bojack and Cuddly Whiskers are rewriting their show they try to come up with an anti-catchphrase for him to say whenever he enters a room and they come up with "wazzup bitches". It has just recently occurred to me, there is an actual character in Bojack that has their own anti-catchphrase: Sarah Lynn's "suck a dick dumb shits". I don't know if this is some meta joke about it or if I'm just seeing a connection that isn't there.

I'm sorry if this is a common thing people know or if I'm just clutching at straws.

Heading back from a decently sized mining trip with my partner. She's carrying most of the loot (a stack of diamonds, over a stack of blocks of raw iron, about half a stack of blocks of gold, several stacks of skulk and couple dozen stacks of skulk sensors). We're walking along and she falls into a lava pit. She's doing everything she can to get out but it won't let her float above the lave despite it being only one block deep. She dies, loses the loot, 6 shulkers, all her diamond armour and tools. I had only just recently concinved her to come play this realm again after a friend had got her killed and lost her, her armour.

I'm part of a friend's realm that I don't have admin privileges to. My partner lost her good armour (thanks to said friend) and is struggling to enchant new armour as she finds herself dying very easily and we suspect this is because said friend has increased the difficulty. Is there anyway to check if he has or not? If theres no way to directly check, is there a test I can do? E.g. If I put on unenchanted iron armour and get hit by a zombie, can I check how many hearts I lose to determine the difficulty?

This is half rant, half asking for advice.

Recently, a relative shared an image which had children making the pride progress flag on one half and children from what looks like war time, waving nazi flags on the other. It had the caption "brain washing is brainwashing, end of".

I'm quite angry and shocked that a member of my family would share such things and possibly have such bigoted views. Especially as they have children themselves and bringing them up in such an environment. The post however has been deleted and I've not responded, yet.

Now I'm not out to that side of my family though not for any particularly reason. I'm both cis passing NB and in a straight passing relationship th

So I've been wearing the enby title for a while now and it feels far more fitting then "male" so I'm sticking with it for now.

But the issue I'm having is I dont really get a chance to have my fem side showing and I hate feeling cis-passing. I used to "cross dress" but I've put on a bit of weight now and it feels a little dysphoric now as I just feel it emphasising my beer belly. I like to paint my nails but I rarely do that as I have to remove it for work. Even make up often feels wrong as I often have a beard and don't have the mental state to maintain clean shaven. I suppose I could use pronouns but even that I don't feel any real connection to any pronouns and I don't care about them as

I'm not sure if I "count" as trans as I identify as non binary and I cis pass most days. But I've really been thinking about getting some dresses to have more fem days.

I'm a bit nervous to go into shops to try stuff on. I was just wondering if it was possible to know what suits what body type without trying stuff on. And if people could recommend any websites to buy off, especially UK.

I've been made a groomsman for one of my best friend's wedding. He wants us all to buy shoes but has said that he will buy us all suits rather than renting. He sees the suit as a gift that we should be thankful for and doesn't see an issue with us buying shoes.

Now the suit is brown tweed and honestly, I can't see me ever wearing it outside his wedding, not even if I became a 60 year old professor. He sees it as a gift as he is paying for and giving us the suits to keep. But the way I see it, he wants us to wear these particular suits, he has told me he is buying rather than renting because he is unable to find a place to rent them. In my head this is no different from him wanting particula

TIFU by not checking the floor as I rush around at work. NSFW warning as may gross out a lot of people. This actually happened today and I've had two showers since.

For some backstory, I work in a healthcare centre and like most in my country, we have a sluice room with a macerator and what we call a toilet. It's not a proper toilet for people to sit on. It's a drain like a low sink but we use it to dump human waste and can flush it.

For those not aware, a macerator is like a huge blender for disposing of bed pans, urine bottles, sick bowls and cammode pans. They break up all the cardboard, mixes it with water and it gets disposed of via the same pipes as toilets. If you put anything in o

I'm recently Enby. As I'm AMAB I am kind of curious how Fem pronouns feel. I am also struggling to think of an enby name, I quite like the idea of a name slightly more on the fem side.
