I just walked into the office at work. Long rectangle with one entry. Just inside the entry is a closet that has supplies. The closet light was off. This closet has a switch not a sensor, whereas the office has a sensor and not a switch. Well, the closet light was off, I turned around to head out and the light was on. I'm one of three employees in the building currently and the other two are up front checking out customers a good 100 feet away. Before I walked towards the entry to leave the office, I felt dizzy and then I saw the light was now on, in the closet. This literally all just happened.
Edit: After the store closed, I was alone in the building with locked doors. I faced up the bott
It was on top of me, I couldn't breathe or close my eyes; all I could do to not suffocate was scream at the top of my lungs. The succubus or sleep demon or whatever this thing was had me in it's grip and was not about to let me go.
It was the summer of my thirteenth year. My days were pretty lonely; I didn't have many friends. I was living in an upstairs apartment at Lake Terrace Apartments. A large, mostly green plant filled apartment complex; like walking through the woods with a sidewalk.
Our place, where I lived with my Mom and my brother and my step brother and step father, was on the second floor. I shared a room with my step brother typically but this particular week, I was sharin
Another /u/ suggested days ago that we start utilizing the term [AFFIRMATION] in a title when we are clearly searching for others that can affirmatively say that they recall what someone is posting about. I love being told I'm an idiot like the next guy but it would also help to clarify a theory if we get folks that also recall events a certain way. I posted about Maple Pop Tarts and it was really great to have the outpouring of confirmation that I wasn't alone in this memory. So perhaps we should title our posts with the [AFFIRMATION] title for when we are definitely looking for others who remember. Just a suggestion.
Who remembers Christopher Lee dying while filming the third Lord of the Rings and thereby they had to use some otherwise deleted scenes while filming to complete his Shots as Saruman? I remember this very much as I have always been a huge lotr fan.
Edit: For those that didn't understand. I did see Christopher Lee in the Hobbit films and as Count Dooku. Dooku was a role he did at the same time as LOTR which I also remember hearing that his death had affected that production as well. When I saw him in the first Hobbit film, I was pretty shocked as I had seen reports of his death during the return of the king release. I only just recently discovered this sub reddit and began posting things tha
Is The only explanation I have based on the theory of the multiverse and quantum immortality and the inability to experience my own death from an outsiders perspective.
I was running a morning deposit to work for Blockbuster Video. I was the opener most mornings. I pull up to the exit of the parking lot which puts me leaving across a busy section of traffic. A semi truck with a long trailer stops to wave me through to cross in front of him to leave the lot, I assume he knows it's clear to cross and get into the opposite lane of traffic. I start to go and I immediately slam on my breaks as a second semi comes barreling past my front bumper narrowly by inches missing my front bumper. The tru
Very simple but what is now Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Tarts was always Maple Brown Sugar in the past. Some point in the last ten years the record of them ever having been just plain old maple brown sugar pop tarts is gone. I remember eating a maple brown sugar pop tart for years. This is minor but has anyone experienced this one? It drives me nuts because I hate the brown sugar cinnamon ones. Not a fan of cinnamon.
Edit: I know about Quaker Maple Instant Oatmeal and I know about Quaker Maple Flavored Bites Cereal. I know that Brown Sugar Cinnamon has existed in this time/verse. The certainty I have in my memory of Mom bringing home Kellogg's Maple and Brown Sugar Pop Tarts is absolute. They
I guess this is a glitch... When I was about 9 years old, my brother and I lived with our mom In a little rental house. I was home alone for a little while one night and the phone rang. This was back in like 1990. Picked up the house phone, it was corded, and answered. The person was a man and he was just saying weird stuff to me. It scared me so I hung up. I remember picking up the phone to make sure it had hung up and he was still there laughing at me. I hung up again and then picked it up and he was just there still laughing even more hysterically. I being very much scared, checked my moms room in the little house where there was a phone also to see if someone was on the house phone messi
