Reddit watched a movie that has some lost/ orphan kid that walks empty streets/ buildings looking for food and things in a post-apocalyptic setting.

The streets/ architecture is french-looking?

At one point the kid enters an abandoned ship that where the water is dried up. And meets two guys I believe who were eating rice/ some kind of food in there.

The weather was sort of chilly/ cold if I remember correctly. I watched it between 2004-2008 if that helps. Genre perhaps is Drama, movie did not appear old at the time. Def. made after the year 2000 from the cinematography I remember.

Have looked everywhere and no luck.

EDIT: u/itsoblivia found it. It's Empire of the Sun and here's t

As if the new common app transfer portal not buggy and broken enough,

Apparently the recommenders will have to send each recommendation separately.

How it should work?

If you are a first year student, the recommender only posts once and your recommendations can be applied to whatever college you choose... Simple and easy, one submission and you can easily apply to 20 colleges no worries!

With this new transfer portal:

The recommender will not only have to submit the letter multiple times... but also THEY CAN SEE THE PROGRAMS/ Colleges you're applying to.

Personally will be cutting my list down. Especially the part where the recommender sees the c

Good day guys, I googled around and had no luck finding an annual report on Computer Science graduates. I was wondering if EMU has something like this?

http://career.engin.umich.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/30/2017/02/annualreport1516.pdf

If any Comp Sci graduates form EMU want to share their experience I'd love to hear it as I really want to know the employment pay range. Of course not expecting it to be as good as U of M but was just wondering if you guys have any ideas. Thanks in advance!

Personally love Java over the rest of OOP choice at the moment as I'm just starting out and trying to plan out my credits for transfer. EMU is one of the options I

Why are you selling?

Created the site as a hobby to learn more about creating sites and really collaborating with other devs. Since then I had to go back to being a full time student and no longer have the time to dedicate to improve the site further on.

If you have been involved in the CS community and known shoot me an email I can give you a bit more info. Will also be on if you have any questions, I'd love to answer them :)

Hey friends we had the longest offline time yesterday for the screenshot system and thought I'd share a few things!

First off apologies for the wait but as you know csGRO is a one man operation and sadly when the server went down yesterday at night it was 1am EST. I worked on the serve until it hit 4am and I had to go to school the next day at 7!

As soon as I got back I've worked on it and it's up again. Believe me I have not even drank anything since I the morning and even as a I'm typing this... and for a fat man that's helluva a task!

Jokes aside what happened was yesterday night Valve pushed a server updated that effected ours along with other server owners. This is not the first t

Hello friends hope you’re all doing well,

Over at csGRO we have made a system that will allow you to inspect your items IN-GAME including GLOVES. This is a fully automated system that takes approximately 10 seconds once you are first in the que, to send you a completed screenshot like these examples here:

Examples:

Does anyone else really hope for a documentary or high quality movie after the SAA breaks the siege? Is there any?

Honestly the story is beyond fascinating that they are completely surrounded by isis and still holding up after such a long time. Even if they have air support and such it would make for a great story.

Hello friends and I hope you're all doing well,

Don't know how to put this announcement out really as I have honestly written several blog posts and deleted them because of how long they were but I'll try to keep this simple, sweet and short.

In the past few months we have put serious attention on tackling a major request by the CS:GO community and that is... an IN-GAME Screenshot Generator. Meaning... you simply give us an** inspect link** and in a matter of seconds you'll get a screenshot of the item you requested.

Of course we did not stop there... as we added the ability for you to** inspect any glove and preview that glove with whatever weapo
