Hey can't find heaps of reddit posts about swiss airlines so I thought id ask here. I'm looking at flying from perth to zurich with a stopover in singapore. Just wondering what swiss airlines are like, if anyone has had experience with them. How are the seats, entertainment etc? never done a long haul flight before, was gonna go direct to london to avoid a stopover but decided it might be easier to just do a stopover and then arrive in europe which is where I want to go anyway. Cheers for any help

I'm looking at doing a cert 2 in carpentry to see if I want to get into it because I need to do something different. But even if I don't get a career in the trades are the cert 2s worth doing just to gain some basic knowledge and to become more practical? I've thought about just doing a cert 2 in plumbing or automotive servicing just so I get a better understanding about how things work and can do my own repairs when i need to. I guess my question is, do they provide enough knowledge to make it worth 6 or so months if I'm just viewing it as a way to get more general knowledge? There doesn't seem to be heaps of people actually taking about the specifics of what a cert 2 entails, I just see ev
Hey sorry for the dumb question just wanna make sure before I buy, I have an alesis strike pro SE that I damaged the snare and bass drum mesh head on a while ago. I just want to sell the kit but need to replace those, can I buy any mesh head the same diameter? Ill probably go with a roland one, should still fit right? Cheers
Wasnt sure where to post this but Ive been trying to stop cracking my knuckles because i got sick of them aching when i didn't crack them, got to a point i was doing it every 5-10 minutes. So past 2 days ive barely cracked them at all ( a few small cracks here and there but not the ones i normally do), but they are aching and it's pretty annoying, and hasn't really dissipated. I use my hands all the time since i do manual labour and play guitar and drums, so the urge to just relieve the pressure is with me all day. I can't mind much online about people trying to stop, everyone just says it doesn't cause arthritis which i don't care about because it still causes aching in my fingers! Is this
I know everyone learns at different rates but man I've been practicing scales for 6 months and Im still missing the frets sometimes. It's improved but the past few days it feels sloppy again. Everyone says to practice perfectly and i tried that for a while, slowing down to a snails pace but even then I'd still miss fret or miss pick a note, i just could not play anything perfectly. so I gave up on perfectly and just kept playing, obviously focusing on getting it accurate but not worrying too much if there was mistakes. Does this stuff really take half a year of pretty consistent practice for only marginal improvement or am I just dumb?
My chord changes have gotten a lot better and power c
Hey so this whole practice perfectly thing is kind of messing with my head coz I also hear that if you want to gig one day you should practice standing up, so I started doing this but then my playing gets a bit worse. Now I'm fine with just pushing through the suckiness of practice but If I'm sitting down I can get much closer to perfect practice and I just dont wanna reinforce mistakes. Is there just a period of time it takes to get used to standing before it becomes as easy as sitting down practice?
~~One other major problem i find is its harder to hit the notes on the low E string while standing, it's like my hand has to curve way too much in an uncomfortable way, it becomes super hard p
So I'm somewhat sure I have ADD but I just can't shake the feeling that it's all learned behaviour that's reinforced overtime as a way to deal with stress and obstacles. Is that true or is there actually a mental disorder component to it? That being said Ive followed the same patterns since I was 6 so it would be pretty damn hard to undo it now. Not trying to minimize it or anything I just feel so conflicted about the whole thing.
Hey so theres just been a curbside collection thing going on in my town so everyones chucked their crap out on the side of the road. I just saw this decent sized sony trinitron so I thought I'd grab it before they take it to the tip this week. But is has been raining a little bit, I don't think heaps but definitely would have got water inside. My question is it completely damaged now or will it be fine if I let it dry out a bit. I have no idea if it works I just don't want to turn it on until I know it's safe, thanks
edit : well just risked it and turned it on anyway. seems to work pretty well. thought it had issues with colour and burn in but they seemed to dissipate when I left it on a bi
I'm after the niche of shirts people won't want to wear
teespring.com/en-GB/the-anti-people-shirt?cro...Probably been answered before but is there some specific Dnd campaign timmy is using? Never played it before but i'd like to give it a go since I really enjoyed their youtube series
I'm looking at buying new splash cymbals, just curious what ones lars used on load since they sound good. can't seem to find info about it
edit : actually, if anyone has info about his whole kit from that era that'd be appreciated too
Hey so I want to use my acoustic shells, and basically just add jobeky triggers and cymbals to it. But I don't know which drum module to get. I can't get second hand (small regional town with no second hand music market) so it has to be new. I just don't know anything about the amount inputs of these modules, because I'd want to add a splash, china and maybe extra crashes. I looked at the TD-27, but it looks like it only has 5 1/4 inch inputs? It has 3 digital usb inputs but idk how I'd connect cymbals or triggers to that? The TD-50 looks like it has heaps of inputs but I don't want to spend 2500+ on just a module, unless that's my only option. Is there some connector or cable that allows yo
