It's how my cousins and I have been saying it since forever. We used to watch Top Gun weekly, all summer long at my cousin Mike's house. Every summer. We all loved that movie. I have a big extended family. Until my generation grew up, we all lived in the same town, so imagine about 15 cousins growing up together from newborns to high school graduation. How could we all get it wrong?

I was just checking whether Ghostrider is two words or one (found no consensus, so I'm doing it the way I like) and watched the clip on yt. "That's a negative, Ghostrider. Pattern is full." I'm discombobulated. I know I said it at school too, don't remember anyone ever correcting me. Does anyone else say n

I'm loving the odd, flashy render program they are using as a visual aid while explaining the spacewalk (I've rewound a bit, since they aren't quite ready to go outside, to get the deets).

I don't think I've ever seen it before. Is this new or have I missed/forgotten it from last time? It's kind of tickling my funny bone too, looks like Heavenly Bodies vg is about to happen. :)

We had rabbits growing up, for food not pets. I've been missing my mom's rabbit jambalaya for almost 2 decades. Recently found that my local Chinese grocery is carrying whole frozen rabbit now (fully prepped). Now, theirs appear to be adult rabbits, while we always culled the young ones. Anybody got tips on how to precook them? We always did some precooking before shredding the meat and adding it back to the pot towards the end of the cooking of the other ingredients. My mom stopped cooking years ago and has trouble remembering what she used to do. I've got her fave jambalaya recipe, a River Roads recipe for chicken and sausage jambalaya that she adapted without putting notes in the cookbook

I am using a family recipe from a Swedish friend. It is very like the ones I am finding on the internet for hallongrottor, the only real difference is a little more or less of the various dry ingredients. But my dough is just so dry, I cannot make the logs to chill the dough & I don't see how it will hold a ball shape once I've portioned it out after chilling. Honestly, it shouldn't even be called dough yet just amended flour or something.

Looking at the pictures online everyone else has a yellow, solid, moist dough to form into balls. Mine is so dry it really isn't yellow, it's off white. I was very careful in the measurements too - I have a set of spoons and scoops so I just need to do on

I gave this exact gift to a guy I was dating in college, back in '97. We'd only been together a couple months when his birthday came around so I didn't want to do anything expensive or too romantic. We joked and teased a lot & pulled pranks on each other, so I thought a funny but sincere gift would be appropriate. He didn't hate it, but also didn't think it was that funny. He did appreciate the note I included with it, handwritten on nice stationery, in which I explained what I liked about him.

However, I think it's hilarious and so did all my friends to whom I showed the ad with a sample video (not

Where does everyone shop for toys since Toys R Us went away and most department stores have gotten rid of their toy department (or drastically reduced it in size). I was already an online shopper when TRU closed and didn't really miss it. But now I want to shift to buying local if I can. It has been really hard to find things worth buying.

My kids are careful with their things, but we always try to pass on if we can so I want toys and dolls to be reasonably well made. Even places like Target and Walmart have smaller toy departments than I remember (from young adulthood, not childhood:)) and the selection? diversity? is really limited - basically the same few barbies, same few lego sets, t

Update: Sorry for the delay, I got asked out for tacos. Ok, it smelled weird but it tastes really good! I thought it would lighten the color more than it did, there must be a significant amount of cocoa powder in this stuff. I'm definitely doing this again! Thanks for letting me know it isn't a known source of grossness.

I did search the sub first and didn't see anything like this, however at first reddit wouldn't give me sub-specific results so maybe I messed it up. If so, I'm sorry & please remove.

I have a cup of coffee left in the pot. I was putting some stuff away in the pantry and saw the chocolate malted milk powder I got to try making malts at home. Would it be extremely nasty

What do these "name plaques" mean?

Translation Request - Solved

Someone gave us what they called name plaques with pinyin & Chinese ideograms and explained what they mean. But it is 3 different names and they were very fast. I lost track and can't remember it straight. I think I remember them saying "pretty" a LOT and also "flower" at one point. I have tried to input the characters that look mostly the same as the calligraphy that was drawn. I tried to include photos but reddit says "not allowed" even though it's an option. I will try to put them in a comment.

Does anyone know what Klaus Kemp is using in this short profile? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxkbSk--EUY&ab_channel=NationalGeographic

I've watched it through a few times and it is not mentioned at all. Websearches for "portable microscope", "portable magnifier", "pocket microscrope" (or magnifier), "portable box microscrope", and "used portable microscope" (since he likes to keep old tools for a long time) have not yielded anything that looks like what he has. TIA

I was picking my kids up from school yesterday and saw a new (to me) thing: a young man had put an Instagram logo sticker on the back window of his pickup truck and next to it was a sticker of what is obviously his Instagram username? account? I started to laugh instinctively, remembering the stuff I thought was cool when I was younger but that I now roll my eyes about, but then realized maybe he is not the odd kid out like that live streaming kid in the Spider-man movies. Maybe it is a growing trend and I just haven't noticed before? Also, these stickers are custom, you can't just buy them any old where, right?

Anyway, I thought I'd come to the experts and ask y'all. TIA.

All the guides I read to help me find cards for the safes say there are just 3. But then I went into the Lost Hope bar, and a lady was throwing up in the bathroom. If you pickpocket her, she has a keycard & a few bits. FYI: She's wearing an all green jumpsuit with matching hat & has a low blonde ponytail, if you go in between vomit sessions.

I was very excited to happen upon her bc I used my first keycard to open the locked upstairs room in the Rest-n-go, not realizing it was a single use item that would disappear. I thought I would just get 2 safes, so I reloaded an earlier save and had to do some boring stuff over again. If anyone else makes the mistake of using a keycard on the

I did search this sub first, but didn't see anyone asking this question. If I missed it mods, you'll get no complaints from me for deleting this.

I was at the point of RFM when you have to go shoot marauders at the station. Already been through the caves, talked to all the C3 people, helped who I was supposed to help, made an honorary member and everything. You are attacking the front facade of the building. Joy's group is close to the 'front door' towards the left end of the building. Where you attack is on the right edge of the front, away from Joy's group.

I'd cleared out the first group of marauders who are on the ground and have a robot helper. Moving closer to the building, more m
