Is it partially my fault?
He says he doesn’t wanna change unless I change too because it’s not fair.
Spouse A: thinks your body sucks and tells you so.
Spouse B: thinks your body sucks but doesn’t tell you so.
He insulted my body and ruined my self esteem with a few comments. He made it so I see him as an enemy instead of friend.
He can never take back what he said and I’ll never believe he didn’t mean it unless he can convince me with solid proof. Which I don’t think is possible.
I have deep hatred and resentment for him and do not like him as a person in general because of what he said.
Why don’t I leave and find someone else?
Because I don’t think I’ll ever find someone who actually LOVES my body and finds it ideal. The most I’ll find is someone who hides that fact for the sake of my feelings, aka a respectful man who doesn’t find my body ideal but doesn’t make it known to me due to r
She has commented weird things before like “your nose is so perfect have you got plastic surgery”
I feel blind sided every time she has commented about my appearance. She seems to have no filter
I could have said “you look like an aunty” That day but I didn’t. But she had to say “u look so different” when she saw me without makeup.
I don’t know how to tell her to shut the fuck up about my appearance without being rude
I don’t know why I care about being rude when she clearly doesn’t
I have social anxiety and I freeze whenever I get these comments out of no where. I feel blind sided and completely frozen in my mind and nothing comes to me as to what to say to shut this shit down or to
I feel men insult us based on appearance as soon as they get the chance even when we have done nothing. And they do it because they think we care what they think. And they think we value ourselves based on appearance.
I dont FEEL confident despite looking attractive.
I think caring too much about it makes me constantly feel unconfident.
I want to hear from women who HAD THIS PROBLEM and then learned HOW to maintain their confidence after males insults.
For me the insults repeat in my head constantly even when I’m alone.
Women wouldnt compare themselves with these fake bodies and faces that don’t exist. Even huge female celebs that everyone raves about, they have one or two glamour shots in their movie, which are shot like porn scenes (camera angles to make ass look huge and waist look tiny, padded clothing and costumes, CGI and VFX to make things look more curvy than they really are. And then in reality behind the scenes they look a lot different.
For example:

Women would have a lot less insecurity if we weren’t bombarded with fake glamour/porn shots of female
Recommend me some movies made by women who are into young sexy hot straight males.
I don’t want to see movies where every male is Ugly but a good actor and the females are all makeupped to look pretty and just sigh and moan and breathe heavily the whole time with no substance.
I want the opposite :) I want movies that objectify young men for the female gaze.
Why do they always choose ugly men to play Dracula? Meanwhile the girls in the movie are made to look pretty, even though they don’t have to be. It’s not just Dracula it’s every single movie. Why is it so fucking hard to find good looking young men who can actually act? Dracula is a romance movie aimed at a female audience. So why the fuck did they not make Dracula himself hot? Why did they take time to find pretty looking females for every single role in that movie but not the main character himself.
This just speaks to misogyny. Catering to the male gaze even for female movies. Fucking irritating
I read in a book “when you ask men a question, they take 30 seconds to start speaking. Women get impatient after 5. And if you ask them another question or say something like “you’re ignoring me” the timer resets and they have to now take another 30 seconds to think of what to say.
Is that true or not and what else should I know about male communication?
