I feel like this community doesn't handle critique well. Keep in mind I also listen to a lot of Avantris and think the cast members are all incredibly talented.

I was wondering how people felt about where Uprooted is going story wise. In my experience it has been harder to be excited for new episodes. At this moment I'm struggling to put it into words but I'm disappointed the (comparatively) low stakes band of vagabonds are in the apocalypse/bringers of the apocalypse. I'm very impressed and inspired by how the improv has led the story so far but it feels off the rails and the cast mentions it as well that it got away from them.

Hello, I'm estranged from my mom. I tried for years to be with my family but she is a very ill woman. All kinds of sicknesses that she wouldn't update me on. She'd talk all the time about how she's dying. She was sick, not dying. She got many surgeries and developed alcoholism after a gastric bypass surgery. She got more abusive. Physically, emotionally, and financially. I left after she threatened to kill me and call ICE on my US citizen boyfriend.

I moved states away and haven't spoken with her since. I used to be an event planner and work for my city but now I work for a factory. I loved my old job. I don't like the factory but I do like the people.

I'm so stressed out. I don't know how to get through it. I'm sharing a hotel room with our family friend. I'm going to see my mother. It's only been a year but it's been a very tough year. Financially struggling and too much factory work. I want to cry and run away. I'm going to the wedding but I don't want to see her. I don't want to see half of them. I'm so stressed out.

My (24) cat (M11) cannot eat hard food because he's missing teeth from an accident. Now he has hyperthyroidism. He's hungry all the time but only eats wet food. He's very skinny so we feed him when he's hungry (every 2-3 hours) but we're running out so fast and can't afford to keep doing this. He won't eat softened dry food.

I feel like I want to cry. Has anyone gone through this niche experience?

Been drinking lemon extract.

Roommates have been commenting lately on how I smell lemony. I've managed to play it off but I cannot smell it and I'm getting concerned about how strong it is.

Tips appreciated but mostly just complaining.

We need to be a community that isn't "forgiving" to "giving in to the cravings" because there is nothing to be forgiven for.

We should be grateful to one another that we are doing something to better the environment. Every meatless meal in a win but not every meat based meal is a loss.

Vegetarians have an attitude problem and we indirectly put more animals in food if we make our community a toxic place. I'm disappointed in this online community right now.

The mods here are being weird by taking down and locking posts talking about eating meat.

Has anyone here managed to get an in person visit? What are they like?

My father in law was picked up by ICE and will probably be deported. We don't know when (he was also picked up today). We are a large mixed family. Everyone visiting will be a US citizen but half of us are Hispanic.

Edit: Unsure why I'm getting down voted. I apologize for ignorance? Im looking for experiences so I can pass those stories onto my family. My sister in law is very scared and wants to see him one last time. She wants it to be outside, she wants it to be private, I doubt this will happen. I can't find anything about what visits might be like. The only thing I know

I have concerns and very little knowledge on VR... such as does this happen on public or private servers? Are there age limits on servers so she doesn't dance for minors? Do dancers make money off this?
