Hello, I wanted to please sense check anyones experience and see if I should be concerned viewing the property.

140 year lease. Ground rent 350 pa. No service charge (I wonder if this is tied into the Ground rent)

House conversion. Ground floor flat with one flat above.

I understand any issues of the house are sorted between the two leaseholders.

Any questions I should have for the estate agents?

Thanks for any advice

Caveat that I do not have a clue about the tech background to achieve any of this, and what's realistic on the GB side.

I was watching Remap Radio's 'RV there yet', stream (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TxnXrJIANk&list=WL&index=11), and noticed how seamlessly Chia (formerly Cado) switches between everyone's views with labelled scenes. Often on GB multi-person streams we are locked to the hosts stream; whether that's Jan or Grubb etc.. and can miss out on misc events. I think this would be a nice quality of life upgrade on the GB multi-person setups.

This might have already been explored, so apologies if so!

I have a Query which is basically a Media Journal of pages. I would like one of the fields within each page, to be a location, like city or country. I know can do this with a text block, or dropdown box, or object, though I wonder if anyone knows of a cute way to do anything like a linked visual map. e.g a page for an exhibit in New York, and one field is 'New York' and I can link out to a visual map.

Appreciate any knowledge!

...and let me say; he has some very from the heart things to say about the current crew and especially our co-worker / co-owner, Mr. Bakalar... it's a sweet, wholesome watch.

I hope the Jeff Jeffs podcast can still continue in some form, and John can guest on some streams eventually; he's top.

Hello all,

I’m trying to import uncompressed Fuji RAF RAW files into Darkroom from my SD card, and I’m getting an error message and a blacked out preview of the image.. is anyone aware of this issue?

The only Darkroom documentation I can find suggests to import uncompressed RAWs, which is what I’m testing with.

I’m really hoping this is resolvable.

Hello folks,

Wondering if any of you would know If could safely use the batteries from my Xpro2 in the x100VI? I have a set of NP-W126 batteries for my Xpro2, and the X100VI uses a NP-W126S—the battery specs look similar, so I wanted to sanity check myself…

Hello Todoist users,

Having used this app happily for 3+ years, and having few complaints as an individual user—is anyone else here bothered by the lack of colour customisation?

The few colour themes we have barely changed the UI look and feel—unchanged for years—with one dark mode option against the brand red—and an extremely small sample set of colour options for projects, tags etc

I also use the Slack app—different tool, but adjacent UI in some ways—and simply having the ability to individually colour customise the typeface, sidebars, object highlights and notification badge colours, makes that app really feel like it is mine and gives some level of ownership, to an otherwise s

Hi folks. I usually put a tempered glass screen protector on any of my devices to add some peace of mind—The 1TB OLED has anti glare etched glass…

My questions are:

  1. will a typical glass screen protector work fine on this type of etched glass?
  2. will it cause any extra visual distortion due to the base glass being anti-glare?

Super grateful if any of you have experience or knowledge here. Thanks

Hi folks,
I will be in New York for a few days across Halloween, and have pockets of time to indulge in anything design and illustration related (exhibitions/events/tours/shopping)... ...I will be spending a separate day at the Met**.**

I've found these so far:

Cooper Hewitt: the exhibitions running currently aren't of interest

Poster House: has exhibitions on that I'd like to see, but closed the three days I have time to visit :(

MOMA: may swing by to check out Unsupervised

MOMA design store: definitely window shopping

Society of illustrators: exhibitions running currently aren't of interest

Center For Book Arts: might check out

Hi folks,

I’m planning a trip to NYC later this year and have seen quite a few short term Airbnb listings where the host lives in the same apartment, so essentially a home-share situation.

Are these sorts of listings okay for me to stay in?

I’ve searched through many posts regarding the ongoing NYC regulations, and I’ve seen quite a few reddit posters saying that if the host lives in the same apartment it’s all good.

Would appreciate any clarity if anyone knows better. Thanks!
