Hi - just resubscribed to gentler streak and also giving the outsiders a trial. However both apps say there’s no data for resting heart rate and HRV but there is data in apple health for this from my Apple Watch. I’ve double checked and the toggles for the data are all switched on in settings so it’s not that. Is this an app problem for both of them or a my phone/apple health problem?

Fairly new to investing for myself but I get the basics at a high level. What I’m not so sure about is specifics. Right now I’m slowly moving my savings from a minuscule interest savings account to a more strategic investment mix via Merrill edge (in consultation with a fee-based advisor).

• I am keeping my emergency fund in my savings account for immediate access

• I have a portion in TTTXX for… I don’t know what. Caution? The yields are decent and I’ve sort of been waiting to see what kind of dividend/interest I get each month on it and it hasn’t been bad! That said it’s not really part of my strategy I’m just pacing myself.

• I have 40% of my “strategized” investments in VCI

I live in California I have no idea how to dress for ta h cold. The temps will be like 45-52° high and lows 37-43° so at least above freezing but I know it could be rainy and windy.

We’ll be doing some outside stuff like whale watching and iceberg tours and hikes as well as a couple of nice restaurants.

So far I have: 1x Uniqlo puffer crop jacket 1x Uniqlo anorak 1x pair of jeans 1x pair of sorel sneakers 3x t shirts

I don’t really have great sweaters. I have a couple of cardigans for work but that’s it. I’d like to travel light because I won’t be checking a bag.

These nails would be perfect for a special trip I’m taking later this year but while I’ve had nail art/gel-x before, I’ve never had anything this elaborate. Does anyone have any recos for nail artists or salons who do this type of work and any idea on price etc?

Another option would be doing just a single accent nail on each hand with the art if it’s going to be too expensive.

This all happened a few months ago, over Christmas, so I feel safe talking about it now. Still, certain details are left vague to protect privacy.

I booked an Airbnb for four nights in a small settlement (not even large enough to be a town) over Christmas so my mum and foreign partner and I could spend the holiday together somewhere scenic in my home country. We are all over 35. There were basically only 5 or 6 cottages and a pub that closed at 6pm on the property. The nearest other homes were probably a 15 minute drive away. The place was perfect for us and the activities we wanted to do.

I need to talk with a lawyer about tax implications of potential inheritance and executorship etc and I haven’t the foggiest where to start. Do you have personal recs or strategies for narrowing down my search?
