Here I am, a well oiled and perfect writing machine. My publisher, unable to sleep in anticipation of my work's completion. Ninety nine percent of the way there; I see the end of the story approaching as if I'm set free through an out of body experience.

All my thoughts, and, dare I say, mystic powers, are aligned; all working together to form a robust and artistic cocktail of perfection. And then something out of nowhere hit me like a drunk driver behind the wheel of a Cyber Truck.

I. Cannot. Finish.

No matter what I do, I'm paralyzed. Paralyzed by the weight of knowing that even though I can see the finish line, even though it's more clear in my mind than my first BJ, I can't get mys

Please anyone reading this, consider putting the words at the front of your book in the same section as your ISBN. "I do not consent my work:(book title) to be fed or incorporated or utilized into any pattern recognition or reverse engineering programs or software or data collection more commonly known as AI, or AI algorithms. This is theft of my intellectual property and it will be met with legal action." It doesn't have to be those exact words but you get the point. Something like that. If we all do this, it will help us all.

It is important that we are proactive in reserving our profession against the powerful tech industry. We must be vigilant before it is too late. Everything we hav

Man, I have to admit, at first, I was skeptical. But gosh darn it, all that skepticism went out the window immediately when the author who must be a genius in every way imaginable began using his amazing story telling capabilities.

I have never been more immersed in my entire life. The humor, the action, the drama, the intrigue, I had to take way more breaks than normal because I was just straight up, too entertained; I couldn't handle it.

I just wish there was more talk about this series you know? I wish more people on this sub knew about Dungeon Crawler Carl, it's just not mentioned enough. We really need to get the word out. More people need to read this series. It's obviously the b

Hi everyone, I want to start writing and I'm a newborn baby. I just came out of the womb and I feel like it's simply too late. I should have been thinking about writing when I was still in my mom's belly! I have simply wasted too much time and IT'S TOO LATE! So much wasted time.... so much wasted potential. If I just started sooner..... Now what? What am I to do?

Why didn't anyone play Brando Sando lectures and aim the sound at my Mom's belly? I feel so suppressed......

Hey I have a few things to say, first of all, how dare you all?

Second of all, where do you even get off?

And last of all but certainly not least, who gave you the right?

You and your little writer buddies all psych each other up like you're about to transcend into greatness surpassing Herbert, Card, and King combined?!? Writing post after writing post after writing post of pretending to have more passion than Jesus.

As writers poor treasure trove upon treasure trove upon treasure trove of pure intelligence and experience wrapped up in a ice cold glass of future published diamonds. And what do all of you collectively do? Ignore the treasures...Ignore the diamonds....

That's what ya do

Did I set out to destroy? Did I set out to kill? Did I set out, to, dare I say, murder? No. In all honesty. That is not where I began.

My intention began as any other normal writer: to create, to build, to ensnare, to captivate. But in order to do so, one must explore the dark sides of life. For, without the pain, remorse, and suffering, there can be no progress, no victories, no glory.

There in lies, the situation, we find ourselves in here right now.

People often ask me: "Has there ever been a better character than Stanley Jacobson?"

And I have to tell the truth! I have to answer them with: "No, no there has never ever been a better character than Stanley Jacobson."

What me and Stan

When I read the original post, I had powerfully conflicting feelings - It's obvious the OOP is a teenager, and it's obvious that they're feeling a little let down by having no one to share this exciting thing with, and that made me feel sad, because we've all been there... but then on the other hand, I was annoyed by the whining and over-detailed recitation of all the ways no one gave a shit about their handwritten book that is probably terrible. It got the sense that the people in their life are tired of them, or that they like to manufacture drama. But then again, teenagers gonna teenager. I'm sure it'll be deleted at some point. I'm reluctant to bag on the kid, but it's a hard lesson they
