So I’m mostly a Low Voltage guy that works in a commercial building assisting the real electricians when I don’t have any low voltage calls. Today I was asked to change out a pendent light fixture that had a broken globe. Lone fixture connected to one Leviton push button and dimmer switch. Press the button, light goes on and off like it’s supposed to. Pull the fixture down and check for voltage and it’s still showing hot. I thought maybe the neutral was being switched. So I meter the voltage line to neutral and have 120vac no matter the position of the switch. The ground seamed to be good. Haven’t been to Vegas in 20 years but I’m going in 2 weeks.

I like to play limit Holdem and it seems to have vanished like stud. Seems like most places mostly are No limit. Staying at Paris in the V tower. Hoping to find a limit game nearby at the Horseshoe. Any suggestions ? Don’t mind low entry fee no limit tournaments either but prefer limit when I’m playing for cash.

Also we had a ball one night playing the mechanical horse racing slot machine one night at Luxor or the Excalibur. Do these still exist? I know they can be hard to find.

Probably a digital version nowadays but any suggestions on where to find one would be appreciated.

Wife was stopped at a red light, when she Accelerated on green the motor reved high and barley moved. She limped it into a parking lot near by.

Plenty of transmission fluid on the ground when I got there. Is there any chance this is a hose or a seal, relatively minor thing or is this thing toast? Towing it to a repair shop.

No previous symptoms has been running great. Bought it with 70k Miles. Had transmission fluid replace at 85-90 k.

120k miles. Recently had front end damage/ bumper. replaced ac evaporator.

Anybody else noticed the little green shed / house boat in the back bay near the IP. I have seen it tied up and motoring around sometimes. It looks like someone has set up a floating tiny house. Guess it’s better than living under a bridge if your homeless. Would love to know the story behind that.

What is the new model number for the smoke sensor that is the direct replacement for the 63-1021 smoke head?
Does it come with a base ? Will the same hand programmer that I’ve used on 63-1021 work ?

I’m getting lost in all the part numbers. Any assistance would be appreciated.

When I was a kid my grandmother used to make eggplant “beignets “. I think it would correctly be called a fritter. It was mashed eggplant with LOTS of sugar Made into little patties and pan fried in oil. I assume there was a little flour mixed in. ( it was the only way I would eat eggplant as a kid). Anyone know what I’m talking about? Maybe have an old recipe?

What areas do boaters go for skiing/ pulling a tube when the gulf is rough. Is it the back bay and rivers ? Is it bay St. Louis? Just got a boat this winter and trying to go out today and drag the kids around. Not sure where to go though.
