I moved my Forge + Cobblemon server from a VM to build it out in a container solution. However, I only know how to start/stop this server via the ./run.sh script, and normally it drops to a shell for the server that makes you issue to stop command to cleanly exit.
When running a podman stop cobblemon_server it times out and issues a SIGKILL. Is there a way to trigger a clean shutdown of the server when I issue the stop command with podman without the need to hook into the container to stop it manually?
As known, Mac Pro 2013 (6,1) is prone to hardware failure, and this is no exception. I've narrowed down my recent issue to the internal SSD not being read to the actual port on the D700 B-board itself (troubleshooting using the apple tech troubleshooting manuals). Given that this board is proprietary and not on the logic board itself, I cannot use an internal SSD.
I've been trying to source another D700 B-board on eBay but they are almost just as expensive as what I spent when I purchased the 2013 Mac Pro (around $250 USD). Most sellers on eBay likely wouldn't want to sell just one part of the set, so they sell both A+B Boards, which is nearly $400+ USD.
My daughter started exhibiting some very violent and disobedient behavior beyond normal toddler temper tantrums since she was about 3-4. Once my daughter turned 5 and the issue persisted beyond some different discipline and parenting methods, we decided it was time to get her evaluated. She was evaluated and diagnosed with ADHD and Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD). We’ve been working with the day cares up until the beginning of this summer and have done okay with managing it. She does seem to go through episodes/phases where it really ramps up. She is violent towards other people (students and teachers/staff), says she’s sad/mad, doesn’t feel like she has control (her description), etc.
I have had nothing but uphill battles playing Germany. It's really frustrating and compared to my US loadouts, they have the least survivable and least performing aircraft I've played so far. Both aircraft paths are at least in Tier 3+.
Pilots constantly "knocked out", even from behind, with pilot vitality upgraded
Bombers and twin-engine aircraft like BF-110 constantly ripped to shreds/split in half by small bursts of fire. Wing repair and cover upgrade do nothing to combat this.
Bombers are paper thin, not even worth putting into the crew loadout. You'd be lucky to even make it to your targets. Similar to #2.
Their engine power and climb absolutely sucks. Engine power is lack
I believe I had made a thread here a few months ago about looking for new jobs due to the lease coming to an end next year. I talked with my manager and client about it and they convinced me about staying at least until the end of my lease next year and would give me letters of recommendation and support in looking for newer jobs.
However, I am a contractor (SysAdmin) working with one other guy (small shop) and it's becoming very difficult to manage and support the systems we're responsible for due to more and more compliance requirements being pushed onto us from our client and the superiors he reports to. It's a closed system, so everything is done on-premise and air-gapped on its own ne
During my time at my current job, one of the things I've found the most difficult is trying to document changes and keep track of my progress on something due to the wave I have to ride (ie, hopping from one task to the next). What are some methods employed to keep track of these changes outside of a ticketing system?
I currently work as a Govt services contractor and I'm trying to expand into something a little more 'real world' that pays a bit better. I'm most likely going to be looking for new jobs and moving to a place with cheaper cost of living. However, reading some of the job listings online is getting daunting. A lot I can handle, but there are some small requirements and things they ask me to know, like Puppet, Ansible, automation stuff, Virtualization environments, SANs... We don't have these things and a lot of the systems I support are very niche.
The most experience I have with administering these systems at my current job (offline/closed environment) is setting up local mirrors in the real
Next year, I will be hitting my 2 year mark at my company and my lease will be up nearly 6 months after that date. I am a contracted Systems Administrator and my client has expressed that he wants me to stay there at least until after the deployment of our upgrades to the sites that I support and train another guy to take my place. However, this date is getting pushed further and further back due to complications and road bumps. The cost of living here where I live is rising and not getting any better, and I need to move at the end of my lease.
Overall, do you think a 2 1/2 year stint at a company is good on a resume for a Systems Administrator? Looking online, I qualify for nearly all of t
Currently, my organization supports Solaris 10 boxes (Sunfire 280r) out of different field locations. I am currently working on a new plan for updates and distribution so our field techs do not have to play the role of SysAdmin. These machines are on a closed network without the ability to grab updates directly from Oracle, so we constantly have to ship SCSI disks back and forth with the latest updates quarterly.
I am looking for a new avenue to be able to make this process easier. Currently with our x86 lineup, we have disk images we ship out, either on blu-ray discs or external hard drives depending on the size of the images. I am wondering if this is somewhat possible to do on SPARC? I'v
I am running libvirt 2.4.0, virt-manager 1.4.0 and VFIO for my GPU passthrough setup on Manjaro running on kernel 4.4.39-1. I am having a bit of an issue getting clarification on the recommended setup for bridging my VM connection over my wireless adapter (ethernet is acting kind of weird on Manjaro). I have followed a few guides, but a lot of them don't really explain what configurations they're editing to bridge the connections and the setup process in my version of virt-manager for the ethernet adapter. I've tried both the passthrough and bridge option on the adapter itself and set the guest IP to match the LAN IP scheme and that did not help. Are there any current/up to date guid
