nbcnews.comTitle says it all, I have a batch of mead that is likely infected. It’s in secondary fermentation but spent too long in the first stage due to a rough move.
Just looking for confirmation that I need to dump it before doing so - this is my first time making mead and all my previous experience is successfully brewing beer.
Last Monday I believe I witnessed a suicide on the mass pike. A white male climbed on top of the concrete overpass barrier and jumped off. Does anyone know where this type of thing might be reported? I’m pretty sure he didn’t make it but I can’t find anything in the news or social media and it’s been driving me crazy. I know what I saw but I’m looking for confirmation so maybe I can stop thinking about it every day.
I think it was between Worcester and Boston around exit 93/94 on the eastbound side.
From what I’m seeing, it looks like the Boston area is experiencing a COVID surge, but I haven’t heard anything about it in the news.
I had family go to the ER on Monday (for non-COVID issues) and they were unable to get a bed until Tuesday. They had to sleep on a couch and then were placed into a lounge. They said ambulances were getting turned away and the place was over capacity.
I’ve just found out myself that I was exposed to COVID and I could only find one appointment for a test today, otherwise it’s scheduling out to Friday.
So, based on this small amount of personal experience it seems like the next wave is here and hitting hard, but I haven’t heard much talk about it. Does this
Title says it all.
I'm looking to buy a helmet and willing to spend some money (budget is flexible, $100+). As much as I'd love to buy surplus, because it's cheap, I don't want to get stuck with something that's uncomfortable when worn for hours, especially in tandem with a gas mask. I know it's not the most essential item, but seeing the absurd amount of headshots at protests has made me concerned about my brain cage.
Any suggestions?
So far I've chewed through Psychology and Alchemy, Modern Man in Search of a Soul, Man and His Symbols, and a few random chapters or assorted essays. I'm really into what I've been reading, especially everything that has to do with spirituality and his analysis of various symbols from the past. I was thinking about reading Psychological Types or Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious next, but I'm not sure what direction I should take.
Any thoughts/comments/etc...? I feel like I've had a good primer with what I've read so far, though I struggled to get through Modern Man in Search of a Soul. I say that only because it gave me such a sense of hopelessness and dread, which was the opposit
Shit here is about to hit the wall and it seems like everyone is more worried about trying to keep life going as normal (like my family). I place the responsibility for what is coming on the government and I am having a really hard time preparing myself for this. I can't shake the sense of dread and total despair, it doesn't help that I've been drinking for 5 days now. I used to be so self-assured about being mentally tough or put-together, but I just feel totally helpless.
I lost my job weeks ago due to this and thought that the financial difficulties were bad, but I fear that the level of death and sickness we are about to witness will be unprecedented for anyone here. Mostly, I am worrie
I’ve been seeing a lot of posts on here from people saying they don’t feel like themselves or they feel like they live their lives through some kind of lens. This is not healthy nor is it enlightenment. We can argue and discuss what it means to be enlightened, but the effects of this disorder are quite severe and do not benefit the individual.
If you feel like you’re living your own life through a lens or that everyday you are playing some sort of game through your body, you should seek professional psychological help. I say this due to my own experience with the disorder, which I once believed was “enlightenment.” The sad truth is that this problem prevented me from experiencing my own th
Cooked up some San Pedro and drank that shit down, but I did it right and never had to purge. I felt like I lived a dream for a day and I couldn't tell what was real or not. I've taken plenty of shroom and LSD, but this time I felt like I was being introduced to another reality. The best way to describe it is like my whole life I've been living listening to AM radio, but the cactus showed me I have the ability to tune to an FM station whenever I want.
I smoked a lot of weed while tripping and now when I smoke it transports me somewhere. I have visuals that I both see and feel.
Mesc is by far the best drug I've ever done, I'm just not sure if I've even come down yet. I still feel like I'm
So i was playing a videogame yesterday when my PC crashed out of the blue. After that it became impossible to start it successfully. I only get a distorted and broken looking screen instead of my desktop. I have windows installed on an SSD.
In order to solve the problem I disconnected my hard drive and tried troubleshooting just the SSD. Some important information is that I only have six gigabytes left on the SSD and that I am unable to perform a system restore.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Edit:
Here's a pic of what I get now even when I try to launch with safe mode or other methods. http://i.imgur.com/sOosTEc.jpg
I'm considering just removing the SSD and installing my OS on
Not sure how many of you remember a modder named Binkowski, who played a large role in the modding scene. His USMC skins are amazing and he has a ton of other skins and scenarios. I can almost guarantee that someone who has played modded A2/A2OA has played with his skins. (Some of the Vanilla skins are also a result of his work)
Here are just a few examples:
