My daughter is in kindergarten in a public school and I'm thinking of withdrawing her and trying k12 for a year.

I know kids get sick in kindergarten but she has been just exhausted by all the illnesses she has caught and it's not even cold flu season yet. She has missed so many days already and it's like a high fever every week. She's exhausted. I don't know how she can learn like this. She has lost weight because she doesn't want to eat because she is so unwell all the time.

The teacher tells her it's a distraction to wash hands like before lunch so she tells her no, takes her tissues from her because she says that's also a distraction so she's sitting there with a runny nose and the o

My 10 month old had a heart rate of up to 227 with a fever when she had rhinovirus. We took her to the ER and it was 220-225 there which went down after Motrin.

I'm SO worried about her. I'm in some gray area with the Drs where everyone says well it was good it went down with the Motrin which I guess ruled out things like svt to them but idk but also it's not normal to be SO high.

I'm freaking out because if this was just a cold what happens with like RSV. I am terrified of her getting sick now.

If anyone has experienced similar please let me know! Or any advice is welcome

So my daughter who is 5 has been struggling with some things that made me start checking her temps more frequently. I noticed that a couple times during the day and around late late at night it has been around those ranges, briefly most of the time.

I know it's not considered a fever but I've never noticed this before unless I missed it. So, I was wondering if anyone else seen this too at it be normal?

Thank x

So, I already asked her Dr but I didn't get much help at all.

Her labs were normal for the most part but her total protein was 8.8

Her albium was 5.2, her calcium was a little higher at 10.6

So, I did some googling and I saw that her corrected calcium is normal? And that the total protein with albium is 3.6 globulins

I'm super worried about the globulins being 3.6 is that normal for her age or anything to worry about

Also, worried about the calcium a bit.

I really appreciate any help!

Hey mamas

Just wondering does anyone know if a total protein 8.8 in a 5 year old is anything to worry about?

Albium was a little higher at 5.2 so that probably helped it be a little higher

Her Dr says it's fine but Google says different. Anyone else have the same levels in their kiddo?

5yrs, female, 43lbs, 3ft, no medication, non smoker,

My five year old daughter has been complaining of abdominal pain for the last 4 weeks. Sometimes temps of 99.5. Been to the ER twice and to the Dr twice.

Lab showed high total protein of 8.8, albium was 5.2 and calcium was 10.6

Is this anything I need to worry about or bring up to her Dr.or is this okay or normal?

Thanks so much!

My girl is having some tummy issues and I just went through her labs..seems her calcium was elevated 10.6. Is this anything to be concerned about. Google just freaked me out a lot.

The normal range on the report was 8.8 -10.8 so it wasn't flagged as high or abnormal but I read that sometimes that level in some labs would be

Hi everyone, I’m really at a loss and hoping someone here might have some insight or has gone through something similar.

My 5-year-old has been dealing with abdominal pain for about a month now. Around her belly button. It’s on and off, and she describes it as a “mild punch” feeling. She says it hurts when she’s hungry and sometimes when she’s full. On top of that, she had a low-grade temp (99.6°F) a couple of weeks ago, and now it’s back again. This isn’t normal for her unless she’s fighting something off.

She’s still eating okay and has moments where she’s jumping and playing like her normal self, but then she crashes—becomes clingy, says she’s “sad for no reason,” and asks to nap (which

Hi mamas, I’m feeling really overwhelmed and hoping someone has been through something similar. My 5-year-old has been having mild abdominal pain around her belly button for the past 10 days. She says it hurts more when she eats, and she brings it up almost every hour. We’ve been to the ER twice when she was acting really off, had an ultrasound (though they couldn’t visualize the appendix), and saw her pediatrician. We’ve tried cutting out dairy, using Miralax, and doing all her favorite things to lift her spirits—nothing is really helping.

She’s still playing here and there like herself, but she’s been really clingy and keeps telling me she feels “sad for no reason.” I don’t know if the tum

My 5 year old daughter has been complaining of a little pain around her belly button since Friday night. She doesn't have a fever and is her usual self. She says also that it comes and goes.

I'm wondering if I should take her to the ER or wait till Monday and talk to her pediatrician.

I also pressed down on her tummy and she just says a tiny bit...that what she keeps saying a tiny bit but what's worrying me is it's not going away.

It's making her nervous. She always gets worried every time she gets sick or something feels off with her. I hate seeing her worry 🥺 I don't want to put her through more stress at the ER either. Idk what to do. She has had bowel movements so I don't think consti

My 7 month old had a heart rate of 200bpm. I already talked to her pediatrician but I'm still concerned. The 200 was brief but it continued to be between 155-190 for hours. This is the first time this has ever happened and her temp never went above 100.4

Could this be svt?
