Bastion of Blasphemies has now been released in Print, in PDF, and as of yesterday, the Foundry VTT product is available for purchase.

Just a friendly reminder that there is a subreddit r/BastionOfBlasphemies where people are discussing the campaign from a GM perspective! It's a pretty spoiler-full subreddit so might not be the best place for players, but it's a great place for discussion otherwise!

I have my PC connected by a high-end HDMI 2.1 cable about 20 feet to my AVR (and TV) in my living. This works because I have a high-end cable, and works great for 120FPS gaming on my TV.

I have much more space for roomscale VR in the living room as well. I'm trying to see if there is a male-to-female USB-C Extender that would work ~20ft to make it through the pass-through in my wall.

When I read about this, I read a lot about signal decay at 20ft etc., but that if you get an active cable with repeaters this should be doable. That said, when I am searching for products described that way (USB-C Male to Female, Active Cable/Repeater, 20 ft) I just cannot find anything that fits.

Called today, got to a supervisor. Took a long time, as you can imagine.

All they could say is that their records show that DoE was sent notification of my 120 payments on 7/31, and they are waiting to hear back.

I asked - 'So on 7/31, FEDLOAN notified DoE, and now MOHELA is waiting to hear back?'

They confirmed 'Yes. That takes up to 120 business days.' Also confirmed there was nothing else to do at this point. No discussion of 'direct to discharge' etc.

120 business days is ~Jan 24th, 2023.

Will remain on the line, checking intermittently, with y'all.

There is probably 'One More Thing' - will they have been benchmarking RDNA 3 on an x3D chip?

I am looking for a ready-to-purchase 3.1 setup - there are so many choices/resources but in the pandemic so much is unobtainable. I am upgrading from a VIZIO SB3621N-E8M sound bar + sub that is not meeting my needs. I love my TV set up (picture attached)so I need bookshelf speakers less than 14" tall and have to admit the shelves only extent 11" from the wall so the speakers will be near the wall.

Aesthetically - I love my setup, and love the aesthetics of the sound bar. I don't want a huge center speaker that is super deep - this center speaker I would also want quite close to the wall.

EDIT: After the ANTICIPATED FFAR nerf - this post is to talk about guns I should switch to if/when FFAR gets nerfed out of the meta (Raven has indicated a nerf incoming, unclear how significant it will be, but in case it knocks it out of this segment).

Been using the FFAR as my backup to sniper. I'm interested in short to mid range flexibility. I rarely use my FFAR for 'long range' or anything, I want something that can beat at close range (not necessarily the best but I want to be able to take out MAC-10/MP5 users when I get the jump) but extend to 40m if needed.

I play mostly Trios/Quads so I feel AS VAL is out.

Forced to download a patch tonight, Friday night EST, and the next two games we've played have had crash to menu 'Disconnected from server' - entire party at once, likely whole server.

Has anybody been able to complete a game? Who is patching games Friday night, gametime?

I'm queuing with my friend in peak hours, I'm East Coast USA and they're in Japan... we've never had problems with matchmaking, but today, the Elite Queue won't go above 6 people. It's basically broken.

Normal queues are 3x as long as well.

I'm playing a Divine Soul/Bard as an agent of Tymora... everything is designed for appearing to bend his luck/the luck of others. Lots of use of Guidance, bardic inspiration, control (concentration spells) and relatively low damage output. Lots of tomfoolery.

And my question is, for my caster to work and keep concentration, what order should I choose the following ASIs/Feats - CHA +2, War Caster, Moderately Armored? I'm pretty sure that at level 5 (given multiclass) I should choose the ASI as it's my class feature,
