I’m missing Olis “OHHHH” growl but overall I’m so happy we get a studio version.

They should of kept it, it added so much to that moment I think the live might be better for me just on that.

Linkin Park - One More Light The love version they did in tribute to Chris Cornell, Chester screams at the end. You can hear it in the studio version but it’s like far in the background

Oh fuck yeah man this is how it should be man I know they probably wanted to keep it radio friendly but I'd say even with the added bits it still is and gives it way more of a punch

These new Oli screams at the end reminds me a lot of Chester's in Linkin Park, heavy but not too agressive
This one and the live version have quite different energies, but both are insanely surprisingly awesome

I love how BMTH has taken their place into Linkin Park territory. Those guitars sound exactly from Meteora. I think this was super well done, calculated perfectly.

Agreed. The toned down screams here lend to a more cohesive listening experience overall, but the live screams are more raw and as screams, I prefer those.

Also the “GO” scream live at around 2:26 ish. But I think its great, just more radio friendly.
On BMTH insta, you can see Ed ask for heavy scream growl, but didnt hear one in the studio version :(

At this point, I think Ed could do a song with Jedward and still make it work. He's great with collabs, I think that's why he opts to make a different version of the singles with another artist. It gets fanbases together and listening to music they normally wouldn't, but he also kills it every time.

I really appreciate the fact that they got together really fast and made it into a studio version based on the fans really liking the live performance! It's very rare you see that between artists, usually nothing comes of it.

I wish the growl had been left in and the one at the end was heavier sounding but I LOVE this! Ed Sheeran and Bring Me the Horizon are both great, and as a person who is a fan of both pop and metal I absolutely love how they managed to mash the two genres together so well.

Oli sounds so good man. I’m so proud of good he’s gotten over the past few years
edit: the producer in me notices that his vox on here seem to be not as processed or highly produced as the stuff on bmth albums. Here it sounds very “straight from the mic” and “first take-y” as opposed to the album material where it’s very refined. Not saying either is better or worse than the other- it’s more that he’s getting comfortable with his voice standing alone in a song
