Hi everyone. I'm looking for some critique on the part list I have here. I'm upgrading from an old 6600k/R9 390 build, so any upgrade is going to be quite the leap.

The purpose is just about only gaming with what I think is a good midpoint build using what's around for some of the newest gen parts. I'd like to have overclocking as an option, but I won't likely be OC'ing right out of the box.

Budget ballpark is $1300 USD, location is in the US, and no Micro Center close enough to justify some of the nice deals they have.

Brief reminder - you can always ask us questions by sending us a Modmail.

It's been a little while since we've done one of these. There have been a couple of changes, one big and recent, the other small that snuck in that wasn't really worth a whole announcement at the time.

This post is being made before some subreddit text scrubbing is done, so if you see something referencing the topics below that should have been edited or removed was missed after a day or two, shoot us a Modmail message (link above) or roast us in our discord.

I am looking for a drawing of a rescue animal in a sci-fi setting. Instead of a traditional animal like a search & rescue dog, it's a small dinosaur instead. I've envisioned it being a feathery raptor with colorful plumage, but any dinosaur will do.

Whatever the species, it would be good to have sci-fi looking medical kits on its sides/back as the dinosaur will double as a beast of burden. Definitely a good amount of medic iconography as well, and maybe some kind of light protective equipment (e.g. knee pads, leg shields, or even cold weather stuff).

Bunch of updates for your reading pleasure.

About the Artist Directory...

Did you know that there is an artist directory for r/characterdrawing? We update it often. There are instructions and qualifications on how to get on the list. A link to the directory will be added as an AutoModerator message to [COM] posts later on, so it could be worth your while if you get on the list.

You do not need to be accepting commissions in order to be on the directory. You can also use it to show off more of your artwork!

Hey everyone. The mod team has done a little cleanup on the sidebars and whatnot to help streamline things. Below is a list of some changes that occurred.

New user flair - "Artist - Open For Commissions"

This update is first in the list so hungry artists can see it. This comes along with a new rule that was implemented to cut down on advertising spam, so read on when you get a chance.

Rules for old and new Reddit sites of r/characterdrawing have been trimmed down and synchronized

Some rules were a bit too wordy and a couple were on different number points (e.g. the NSFW rule was Rule 2 on new, Rule 7 on old) so that has been sorted out. If you want to help us out, take a look at them

Happy 2021 everyone. This is a refresh of Fluff's previous welcome post trimmed down slightly so people are more likely to glance at it... hopefully. Please message myself or the moderators if you think something should be added.

If you are new to r/characterdrawing, then welcome. This is a place where people can request their characters to be drawn pro bono, and artists can select a character to draw whether for practice, for fun, or just as a kind thing to do. Typically the artwork here depicts player characters from tabletop role-playing games such as D&D 5e and Pathfinder, but characters across all TTRPG genres are welcome here.

Battle busing, since it came up and that's what FedX is known for. You fucks don't know anything else because it's what we would farm all of you with. You wouldn't know where the vehicle terminal is to get farmed by our AP cannons and suicidal ANTs.

It's so fucking dead now. Waaaaah.

Can't aim the bulldog down far enough to make it as spicy of a time as it used to be. Close quarters combat isn't effective since idiots can come up and knife the paint job.

RIP what made ARC great and FedX a name - to start.

I'm using a bazillion year-old Belkin router that needs replacement. Charter (my ISP) are nazis with their equipment and lock them so you can't fuck with settings, so I need a router for port fowarding and whatnot. Plus the wifi is nice. I don't know where to start so I figured I'd ask the masses here.

Any suggestions? I'm not looking for a $300 flying saucer with sixteen antennas.

Edit - went with Fodollah's suggestion. Thanks all.

I made a FedX discord. No, we're not leaving teamspeak. I've even deleted the only voice channel on the discord. It's just a free way to have text chat. Feel free to be weird as hell, just NSFW tag stuff.
