We’re playing a 20 year old game. If it’s your first time playing it, please COMMUNICATE. Grouped with a lvl 20 warrior that didn’t know how to taunt and got us both killed. I should have been wiser in assuming they knew the bare minimum of how to play their class but you live and learn I guess.

Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but we go agane.

Man, all I gotta do is turn autopay on… by all accounts, I’m an incredibly high functioning adult. Yet hitting a few buttons and inputting my card information is a bridge too far. Now I gotta wait till next week to get my meds.

As if that’s not enough, the universe has to throw a stomach flu on top of it, and it’s only Tuesday!

VB in LA

WHERE CAN I FIND

Feeling nostalgic, trying to find Victoria Bitters in any size, preferably closer to DTLA (yes I know it’s piss) I’ve seen Coopers at a few different liquor stores so I know there MUST be VB somewhere…

My doctor is at the Kaiser in East LA. Every time I’m on the train route over to the facility, I can’t help but notice how many restaurants there are just looking out the window. Are there any spots between the Arts District/Little Tokyo stop and Atlantic that anyone feels particularly strongly about?

Hello all. I recently found out there’s a train route to my work down in Irvine and I’m trying to figure out the logistics.

I live in the Arts District and figured I could bypass the closest metro stop and just bike to Union Station, which would require me to bike down Alameda for a mile or so.

I have never biked in LA before. My question is this: is biking on Alameda for any length feasible? I’ve seen there’s no dedicated bike lane and the lanes are fairly narrow. Is there a better route? Thanks!

So, I’m in the process of moving and I recently started a new job that affords me the opportunity to get my dream apartment: I’m looking for something either completely soundproof or a place where people don’t give a shit if I’m playing my drums at night, producing or bumping music very loud. Maybe a loft downtown or something at the Brewery in the Arts District? Does anyone have any good leads for me?

Can afford anything $3000/month or under. Prefer something near DTLA or central LA.

EDIT: consensus seems to be “get a lockout”, I suppose I wasn’t aware of how many there seem to be in DTLA. Thank you everyone I will look into it!

GF and I are feeling restless and want to find a nice park to stretch our legs. Most of the parks around me (Pico Union area) are pretty unkempt so we’re looking for a hidden gem if anyone knows one!

Corpse revivers are my favorite drink. I had one at a superb cocktail bar (Herbs & Rye) in Vegas some years ago and immediately took to it.

Anyway, I’m looking to make them for myself. I know the recipe calls for Lillet Blanc, but I heard through the grapevine that Cocchi Americano is actually more faithful to the flavors of the original recipe.

What do you guys think? What’s better?
