Hey all,

I know we're currently in a pandemic and a lot of these amenities are closed up, but i'm wondering if anyone knows of any condos or apartments with indoor basketball courts. It's a really unique amenity that I've grown to love in previous dwellings and would really appreciate some help in finding some in downtown Seattle!

So far I've found the following:

  • Stack House Apartments (not very well reviewed)

  • Harbor Steps (location isn't ideal)

  • Rollin Street Flats (terrible floorplans)

Has anyone lived in Stack House apartments before? The reviews seem less than satisfactory but it looks like a pretty sweet place. I would love to hear of some first-hand experiences!

I've been considering the Mongoose Trace 200. It seems like it provides some good value at an affordable price (compared to other options in Canada). It could currently be purchased for ~$120 CAD, so under around $90 USD.

Problem is, there are virtually no reviews or details for this model. Does anyone own this thing? Care to provide more information regarding the ride, measurements, how it compares to other models (A5 LUX/DLX, A6, Hudora 230, etc)?

I'm familiar with the Mongoose brand which is a big reason why this piqued my interest. There's a lot of reviews on the Amazon page, but they include all the different models so in reality there aren't actually many. It seems like the Trace 1

Recommendations for a first time visitor!

Vacation Questions :snoo_dealwithit:

Hey y'all,

I'll be staying in the area for my first time visiting my parents. They're also pretty new to the area.

I would love to some recommendations for good restaurants, fun activities, and some reasonable day trips (we have a vehicle). I was planning on catching a lightnings game, and (hopefully) heading to Disneyland!

Hey ya'll,

I currently have in my possession the following two batteries:

Battery #1 - 29++ 8.4Ah

Full Charge Capacity: 82.72 Wh

Cycle Count: 158

Manufacturer: Sanyo

Design Capacity: 93.24

Condition: Good

Manufacturer Date: 2011-09-02

First Used Date: 2012-03

FRU: 42T4940

Battery #2 - 44++ 7950 mAh

Full Charge Capacity: 86.23 Wh

Cycle Count: 87

Manufacturer: LGC

Design Capacity: 93.24

Condition: Good

Manufacturer Date: 2013-10-03

First Used Date: 2014-05

FRU: 42N1029

It is my understanding that they're both genuine. On paper, battery #2 seems to be the better choice of the two, but there's still the following to consider:

  1. Manufacturers (SANYO vs LGC) - is o

As the title stated, i'm an amateur billiards player who would like to take my game to the next level! It would give me the opportunity to improve my game, meet new people, and it's just something fun to do.

Does an organized league such as this exist in Toronto? I currently live along Bloor on the west end. Everything I've come across looks pretty professional. I'm imagining something like the TSSC but for billiards.

I have two Thinkpad X220's

X220-A

  • i5-2520
  • Advanced-N 6205 Wireless card
  • Webcam
  • IPS Display
  • Lid Condition: Perfect
  • Body condition: ~OK

X220-B

  • i7-2640
  • Ultimate-N 6300 Wireless Card
  • No webcam (not offered with the Ultimate-N 6300 configuration)
  • TN Display
  • Lid Condition: poor
  • Body condition: Good

I would like to swap the entire lid (including display) of the X220-A, with the X220-B.

The X220-A has a webcam, if I move the lid into the X220-B, will the end result be a loose cable (connected to the webcam) that I can simply leave dangling in the housing? Also, will this have any impact on the Ultimate-N 6300 wireless card?

Hey guys,

This is going to be a r/nostupidquestions type question, so bare with me.

In theory, is it possible for a hypervisor (ESXi) hosting a firewall (pfSense) to be exploited remotely? The thought process here is that technically, the hypervisor itself is internet facing, and it's running a proprietary OS (at least on ESXi it is). Couldn't a vulnerability be found within ESXi that is capable of breaking out of the virtual instance before hitting the firewall (VM Escape + traversing through to other hosts), or even evade the firewall entirely?

I'm having trouble wrapping my head around the networking portion, but otherwise I don't see why this couldn't happen.

I'm using squidguard as my proxy filter and blocking trackers, advertisements, etc. Now for some reason, kijiji.ca falls under 'advertisements' and is being blocked.

My method to unblock it was to head to "Target Categories", "Add a new item" and in URL List enter "www.kijiji.ca/", leaving everything else default.

Then in "Common ACL" Target Rules list, that new item is at the top of the list, and I modify it to specify 'allow'.

What am I missing here? Am I supposed to add some sort of domain list, or regular expression?

My set-up is currently...

Internet --> Modem (Bridged) --> ESXi 5.5 (static IP) --> pfSense --> LAN

My ISP has only provided me with one public IP, meaning that I had to configure my ESXi server with a static address in order for pfSense to pick up on my public IP via DHCP. My issues now are...

  1. Should I be concerned that my ESXi server & pfSense are directly connected to the WAN, specfically with my ESXi server passing traffic through it to the pfSense WAN interface
  2. Does a solution exist that allows me to access my ESXi server remotely in my current set-up

Please let me know if my current setup is idiotic, thank you!

I'd like to set up a pfSense firewall (along with snort, and whatever else I'm interested in) between my cable modem, and my wireless router.

To my understanding, the modem has to be placed into bridged mode, since it is a combo modem/router, but from there it gets a little hazy. I've looked into this but it's pretty limited, unless it is actually that simple. The How-To doesn't state anything about turning off DNS, or the possibility of a double NAT issue?

Also, what's the recommended order? I was thinking...

Internet --> Modem (bridged) --> pfSense (running atop ESXi 5.5) --> Router/Wireless
