I'm planning to use a creature in an upcoming game I'm DMing, the idea being that it shifts between various elemental forms, and is only vulnerable to certain damage types in each form. My plan was that in any particular form it would only be susceptible to one of fire, cold, electricity, or acid damage, as well as one of slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning.

The forms where it is vulnerable to fire and cold are pretty straightforward (fiery form while susceptible to cold, and icy form while susceptible to fire), but I'm having difficulty coming up with ideas for electricity/acid vulnerable forms. I'm also not sure how to telegraph that a particular form is susceptible to piercing (Was think

Name: Dominic Kelly

Occupation: Spiderhawk Magus (essentially a fighter/mage/thief)

Notable Features: Brown eyes, dark brown hair. Has a very rakish look to him. Comes in a little under six feet, and fairly lean. Pretty much always has a smile on his face.

Character's Race: Half-elf

Character's Equipment: Leather armor, and a sentient cold iron dueling sword.

Character's companion(optional): Iselmyr, the Autumn Storm. His dueling sword, an ancient weapon typically wielded by fey knights.

Character's backstory: Dominic is the son of an elven knight and a human charlatan, so he's basically become a scoundrel swashbuckler with a heart of gold and a flair for lightning magic. His lightning

I've been playing around in the new update, and I've found I can't start a brace from a point that already has a brace attached. Is there a way to get around this, or have braces become much less useable?

Thanks to u/TheSuvorov for passing me the judge's baton.

MTG has a lot of rules. Hundreds of them. And most have a bunch of sub-rules, some of which have sub-rules, and so on all the way down...

But, of course, rules are made to be broken. Only 4 of a single card in your deck? [Shadowborn Apostle] (http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=370746) begs to differ. Tapped creatures can't block? Tell that to Masako the Humorless

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to make a card that breaks one or more of these rules.

I'll probably do the judging in about a week. Have at it!

I've got a Slingfire, and it's pretty cool, if perhaps not the most practical. I'm thinking of picking up a Sledgefire, as I've heard they're pretty cool, if also impractical. This gives me the (probably terrible) idea of trying to rig up the Sledgefire as a masterkey for the Slingfire. On a scale from 1 to 10, how terrible is this plan? If it's at all feasible, any suggestions?

Basically like regular laser tag, but the arena has really high ceilings and the floor is covered with pads and trampolines.

Could also work with airsoft or for nerf wars. Probably not paintball though.
