I don't know about y'all, but I find it baffling that my sim gets equally upset from some rando her boyfriend brought into the household and locked into the basement as she does from her mom dying.
I have looked all over, and I have a feeling that I will just have to make it myself, but is there a mod already out there that disables the mourning moodlet from household members dying?
I cheat away that moodlet when ever it shows up but it's really annoying to have to do that. I don't even care that much about the sims, but I feel awful for the pets. No Nibbles, that random lady who you never interacted with did not abandon you! Your mommy loves you, I promise! :(
I remember seeing a mod some time ago that would fix that annoying thing with reading a child to sleep where they go tho someone elses bed and maybe if you are lucky will go sleep in their own bed after. I have tried googling it many ways and many times but I can't find it for the life of me. Did I dream it up?
I have a memory of reading the mod page saying something like "this mod fixes the routing so instead of the closest bed the child will route to their own bed when you read them a bedtime story."
I really like the feature but bc of the way sims 3 assigns bed ownership it will end up with mom and timmy trading beds permanently if I don't micromanage them constantly.
I was looking around for a mod that makes sims in my town die with housefires and drowning and stuff, but all I could find were the NRAAS personality modules. These are a bit constrictive to me, as I would like just general accidents to occur.
I want the sims in my town to be able to pass away from the same things my active sims can, essentially.
Is there a mod that enables this if I use NRAAS story progression? From what I understand, in vanilla game inactives can die this way, but story progression disables it for no reason, and NRAAS never made an option to reenable it? I have never played without story progression, so I don't know.
Ya know those red cylinder hats with a black tail on top? Yeah, that. I have seen references in pop culture to them in at least Good Omens and Yahtzee Crowsaw has made a couple of those references in his show Zero Punctuation over the years.
I have googled the meaning several times, but the only results are the cultural ones, that does not explain it. Do people in the west just find this one particular hat just that funny?
The context is never talking about Ottomans or Muslims. It seems to occur usually in comedic or at least attempting to be comedic contexts. I want to find out what makes this hat funny, essentially.
When seeing it in ZP I assumed it was some sort of a signifier of a pe
