I've a number of ideas percolating, the one I'd like some advice with runs as follows...over the course of the last month or so, I've captured a number of handshake packets that have been obtaines by forcing deauths using Kali and the required hardware. It's taken my aging GPU some time to crack his WiFi, but I eventually got there using hashcat.

Is there any software that allows the user to specify all the parameters in a GUI for the required mask attack flags to be appended to the hashcat execution CMD line to be returned to the user?

I'd like to be able to specify, for example, a password of exactly 8 characters in length containing 6 letters, one of which is upper case, the others lower, 1 integer and 1 spwcial character. The integer will be at position one, the letters will occupy positions 2 to 7 and will be in any order, with the special character being in the final position. Ya know, variants on the above.

Any help would be appreciated.

One password was cracked using a dictionary. A fresh hash is provided and a new cracking session begins, but the original password is always returned, nothing new.

Have deleted the profile, no joy. Are there any other temp files which may have cached the original data?

I've finished upgrading two components to my PC, and the difference in performance is quite something (both in benchmarks and in-game FPS experience).

CPU: From Ryzen 5 2600x -> Ryzen 5 5600x (only overclocked as far as Ryzen Master said it was capable).

GPU: Remaining MSI RX6650XT Mech (8GB VRAM) (again, minor OC from AMD software).

RAM: From 2x8GB of decent Corsair 2600MHz which I got to run at 3GHz stable -> 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK32GX4M2E3200C16 natively running at 3.2GHz for now (actually, I seem to recall Ryzen chips only being able to manage 16GB - is that correct, please?).

After years of gathering dust, and with time on my hands, I want to see what the Rift S is capable of these days.

I did the whole creating a Meta account as that now appears to be policy.

Did a clean install of Rift software (I was previously using this on a different, lower specced PC, so I know there aren't any old drivers or software causing a problem.

I've rebooted my PC and the Rift a handful of times now, but nothing doing.

Looking online, others have experienced the same error message, but theirs was remedied by either making sure the required permissions for the camera and microphone were enabled in Windows, which they were, and I've also disabled USB select suspend.
