I unfortunately forgot to ask my neurologist when i was on the phone with him earlier ... But are hot tubs safe for people with an active leak? Specifically I have active intracranial hypotension (MRI confirmed and symptomatic) and suspected fistula that we are still trying to find on myelography. My friends do a weekly outdoor hot tub hang out and I miss it so much. I have avoided it until now because of fear of making the leak worse but I want my life back -_-.

I am facing a significant wait for my second myleogram to find my suspected CSF-VF. In the mean time, my symptoms have been progressing. In the last 2 weeks since I had to return to work, I am pretty sure my brain sag has increased as I find significant discomfort turning my head and my "POTs" like symptoms are significantly higher. I am doing all the conservative treatment tricks like caffeine and increased hydration and bed rest when I can.

I was reading that there has been some temporary relief from getting intrathecal saline injections to temporarily boost CSF levels and buoyancy for the brain. Has anyone here had that while waiting for further diagnostic testing? Or any other symptom r

I had my DSM done today, left side. And I was really hoping that they would find the fistula on the first scan. Especially since in my area there is only 1 IR who can do it and their standard of practice is to do it under anesthesia so the schedule coordination meant waiting 5 weeks for this one (I know, it could be way worse!!). And now I am worried I will end up waiting 5 more for the next.

It's extra disappointing because in addition to the suffering with the spinal CSF leak, I also have a tumor they need to remove from my low back and they are trying to coordinate procedures once they find the fistula.

I just mostly needed a little vent :( why are these buggers so hard to find!!

I have been diagnosed with spontaneous intracranial hypotension with pretty significant sagging present on my MRI. Leading up to the MRI I had the classic orthostatic headache pattern. I have gotten 2 spinal MRIs (one weighted T2 and one with contrast) and they didn't show the leak (but they did find what is likely a benign schanomma in my cauda equina.. so yay? That complicates things). Neuro is recommending a DSM next as we think it's a venous fistula. Either that or the schanomma is messing with things super bad. Have to see what the surgeon wants to do.

Hello fine Redditors. I just moved to Charlsewood, the land of "ditches and culverts". And I am curious if anyone knows of documentation on maintenance for them from the city. I see some of my neighbors have made rather ornate "covers" for their driveway, others are simple. Some ditches have Reed's planted, others are just grass. I vaguely recall them filling the horrendous potholes between the st James bridge and Taylor early this summer. Whelp, we are 2 weeks into snow season and there are two GIANT craters on the NB lane again (one just before the turn off into superstore and one just before tuxedo). Definitely tire/car destroyer ones too. (And yes, I did report to 311).

Unfortunately it seems like as long as the to expand or not expand question is out, they aren't going to touch fixing these permanently which is ridiculous considering how much of a hazard they are.

So over the years I have had a number of "generated overpayment" lines on my pay stubs. When you add up the numbers it appears those don't contribute to the gross on the check. When I asked at the time I was told it was "a Pheonix" thing and now they are trying to claw that money back despite never being paid it.

Does anyone actually know what those line items were?

(To add: I had a number of paychecks over the years where when you add up all the +/- values on the details it did not add up to the gross amount of pay. Whenever I would ask I was always given a non answer. Some of that mystery money that was never money to me is now being clawed back)

I stopped playing for a while (mod issues) and have gotten back into the game again recently. But the problem I am finding is that when i build industry (DLC) areas, the storage doesn't seem to be balanced anymore. I will set them as the default balanced and then it will start calling for imports and fill it up! I set it to empty and it still stays massively full. This is happening with multiple industries too, not just one type. I have tried the industry rebalanced mod and it hasn't improved this either... Any suggestions? (mods or otherwise?)
