I just wanna see how Halo 5 Warzone works ... and... There is a mod by Le ZeNy for this , currently I just want to see the map , Edit it a bit , see how he spawns AI

BUT

As soon as i "Edit" the map , it says "Firetime does not exist anymore"

I am trying to understand games in general...

I've found that ... as a tool to relax , unwind , and get energy to face the next day , in a Life that is like a perfect loop (goto office , get tortured , come back , play game , get energy , do your hobbies or play a new game , sleep , repeat) I can't use any game

Since all games require you to take risk , get used to the "initial bullshit" as with all Fiction , book , movie or game... and that takes energy.

Even Games like Doom or Dark souls or Idle games like Planteria or cookie clicker... Don't leave you with satisfaction , It leaves you with ... wanting something more..... Or in Dark souls case , you want to rest before you go ahe

I've been trying to understand sandbox games for a long time.

Long story short , just like code speaks more than a programming idea , Game design , would speak more than talking about it .

I would like to request...

Craft a game with really cool mechanics , but make the player say "What's the point"

It doesn't need to be your Magnum Opus... Obviously..

Bonus points if

1. You make a Linear game , that makes people say "What's the point"
2. Take Halo or Delta Force , or Dave... And convert it to make people say "What's the point"

(I feel giving people something to go in a sandbox is .. easy-ish , but taking it away... consciously , could help understand this emotion better)

Why does HZD on PC use so much CPU power ?

So i saw some posts about some people using Hex Editors and Disassemblers and stuff.... too complex :D .

SO i wanted to ask.... What causes the Game to use so much CPU , because the Recommended Settings use 4th I7 3.5ghz , 1060 , 16gb ... and I have a 8th gen i5 clocks up to 3.98ghz , 1060 , 16gb and my friend built a Desktop and I gifted him the game.... And All i know is he has a i9 , 2080

AND for both of us , the CPU just Maxes. And it stutters.

I wanted closure I guess.... Since 1.10 seems like the last patch...... I just want to know how SO MUCH POWER could be still not be enough , when the ps4 has 1.8

I've been Running Horizon Zero Dawn on PC

I noticed my CPU that goes to 3.92ghz goes down to 2.33ghz while the useage is a 100% .

I thought it was a Game specific problem........ But it seems if you run a PC anytime it keeps slowing down.

Is this a thing thats possible? Because other games do not throttle my CPU from 3.9 to 2.3 . ( I don't think its thermal cause that should take time..... right?)

So i was recently listening to the Monster Hunter Yukumo village theme..... And while its playing , the strings in the back.. were sometimes in rythmn and sometimes out of it..

And i noticed , that i've heard this... A LOT , in traditional "Chill japanese" classical music themes
