I have 2 guitars both with evertune and fishman fluence pickups.

I notice that without a noise gate, one of them produces a hum (the sound of when you leave your input jack on the ground) unless you touch the volume knob, or the pickups themselves. The hum is still present when you have your hand on the strings.

The other guitar does not exhibit this behavior at all. I read that this is a normal for this him to exist, but I find it odd that one guitar does this, and the other doesn’t. What would be the first thing to troubleshoot so I can remedy this?

I'm having issues with Davinci Resolve 17 that I never had with adobe products. This has been a major headache in my workflow. I've done many searches and yet no avail for this issue being fixed.

Issue: When exporting my video with the AAC codec, I get loud audio spikes that sound like a chirp in specific parts of my video. It is consistent no matter how many times the video is rendered and it is always in the same spot. This goes for .mov and .mp4 files being rendered. Okay, so a solution I have found is to render the video with the Linear PCM codec. Which does not yield these audio artifacts.

I have all my projects in subfolders, so lets say I want to move all of said projects/folders into a dedicated "2020 Projects" folder. Will there be any discrepancies with plugins or files? I tried this with one project and it rebuilt all my "peaks" in the Peaks folder but everything seemed to load (though I didnt check all the plugins settings). Is there any problems with doing this?

I have some worn Yamaha HS8s, Im looking to sell them to a friend for a good price and buy a brand new pair. Will the new pair of HS8s sound exactly the same as my old ones?

I really like using sublab but theres a few kinks id like to see worked out. When I bought into it, it seemed that this was a big competition to doing 808s in FL studio. I use reaper and having the sampler so easy to use cut down on time with my workflow. Now it seems the software is being pushed to the side and not updated much. I would easily recommend sublab to anyone who doesn't use FL studio if they just kept on top of updates and bug fixes. Anyone from FAW care to chime in? Or is the software dying?

While re-stringing my guitar, I cut the strings off and had tiny flakes of string stick to the pickups of my single coils. I got most of them off but there ended up being a small flake in the indented pole B string section of my bridge pickup.

Any suggestions on how to remove this? The pole is below the pickup guard and I was able to see it on the side of the pole. Would there be any problem leaving it there? Thanks for any replies.

I'm sitting in a room completely gutted from 40 years of hoarding, and floods. I've been depressed for years because I've been in a dirty and crazy environment. Everywhere, everyone is giving away free loops. People will email me trying to push their loops. Now I'm not against loops but I find making the melody in a beat is half the fun. Why would I want to skip all that with the endless loops that are available.

What is the overall goal of these models? To get a name out there? Or hope someone uses the loop to claim royalties?

And I have a question. I'm on a previous version 5 build and I don't really want to update to reaper 6 yet. I don't like reinstalling if things are working, only when they aren't.

With that said, if I purchase a license from the website, will it work for my current version of reaper? Thanks!

This is a very specific issue and question so bear with me. Years ago I used to torrent programs for music on my laptop. My AV did pick up a few of them, but after reading that they were from trusted sources I downloaded them anyways. I used that laptop for years without noticing any weird activity, and written off those alerts as false positives. But I was never too sure.

Fast forward, now I have an expensive computer, and all of the programs that I previously cracked, I purchased legitimately. I never once put any torrent or weird software on this new computer. And I am very protective about the software I put on it.

So after not playing for a while, I have a 1 Def 13 Pray Mauler pure I used to have a lot of fun with. Never made much money but it was self sustaining. Its been a few months and coming back I realize I'm not as good as I was, and I'm losing all my money with these bullshit maul handles. It also seems that I risk a lot more now since I don't have prayer and all other maulers usually keep their maul.

What are some other methods for KO's without risking 1/4 of my bank when I die. Is everyone using protection prayers now that this change was implemented? What are the metas?

Using the "dry" preset, I get get random pops when playing chords. This doesn't happen with other libraries, or other presets within Alicia's Keys. I'm using Scarlett Asio drivers, 48k, 64, 3.9ms. Good computer 32gb ram, no backround processes.

Any idea why this would happen? Is this a known issue?

I've tried reloading samples with no difference.

While using the Alicia's keys instrument in kontakt I sometimes get random pops when playing held out chords. Specifically on the dry preset. Other presets don't seem to do this. My latency/buffer has been the same for a while and I haven't noticed this happening with other kontakt instruments. I've tried reloading samples and have 32 Gb of ram and 8700k.

My CPU usage is only 3-6% as normal while this happens so I don't think it's a PC issue. Any ideas why this is happening?
