Hey all, I just wanted to share that I have a few low-cost spots available at the moment for one on one sessions. If you are interested in diving deeper into IPF, but things are too tight financially, feel free to contact me. We can set up a free call to see if it's the right fit :)

My standard rate is $150usd per session, with a sliding scale from $75, but low-cost spots are even more flexible. Typically going as low as $50 per session.

As for me, I help clients who are ready to move past cycles of low self-esteem, limiting beliefs, anxiety, and relationship drama and move towards a life of nourishing relationships and an enjoyment of life, play, and wholeness.

We'll turn to the support

I want to take this moment to just geek out about Ideal Parent Figures.

This email will not tell you how to use it better or how to achieve secure attachment. This is just the beautiful backstory of (and my personal reverence for) one of the most stunningly beautiful, effective, and interesting modalities that I've ever stumbled across.

Ideal Parent Figures was developed by Dr. Daniel P. Brown in collaboration with Dr. David Elliott and others at Harvard University. Dan Brown was a psychologist at Harvard and one of the leading pioneers in attachment theory since the days when attachment theory was quite new and unknown in the 70s.

Hey all! I'm planning to record a bunch of Ideal Parent Figure meditations this Winter. Let me know if there is anything in particular you're looking for. If I am able to make a meditation to serve what you're looking for, I'll be happy to :)

Hey all, this is an article I originally posted to my website, but I felt like sharing it here would be cool as well.

At this point in my life, I feel something that used to seem completely impossible: a steady, grounded sense of security in myself. My relationships, both platonic and romantic ones, feel mature and nourishing. There’s open communication, ease, and depth. There’s very little drama.

Outside of relationships, I feel a strong sense of agency — like I can shape my world and connect with people in ways that feel meaningful. I feel a deep belonging in myself, a sense that I am fundamentally okay, and that life is workable.

And I’m not constantly going over in my head whether w

Hey all! I just wanted to let you know that I've put up a free, 6 week introduction to Ideal Parent Figures on my website: https://reparentyourself.org/ipf-meditation-intro-course/

Each week, you'll get a guided audio meditation (that you can download and keep forever). Each week focuses on embodying a different quality of secure attachment.

Please keep in mind that pre-recorded audios cannot replace one on one facilitation. If you try these meditations and it feels too challenging or distressing, I don't recommend you continue. It doesn't mean IPF can't work for you, those are just signs that support from a facilitator is needed

I recorded this video above talking about this topic, but also am including a written version here for those who would rather read than watch :)

I hear fairly often the question of whether Ideal Parent Figures can work together with Internal Family Systems. As a facilitator, I have found them to be very highly supportive of each other. I find that using the modalities together can help clients go deeper and access places that can be hard to reach using just one or the other.

Here’s one pretty common situation where I’ve found they can work beautifully together.

Hey all! I'm posting this for a friend. She's a Canadian from Québec going to Australia on a working holiday visa (417). She's a little overwhelmed trying to figure out what insurance she needs.

Does anyone know what insurance she'll need to get for her stay? Not sure if there is a different kind of insurance or different companies for Canadians as opposed to Brits, Americans, etc.

Can you recommend any companies to go through?

Thank you so much!

If you’re on this subreddit, you’re likely interested in developing secure attachment, and probably are interested in doing so using the Ideal Parent Figures/Three Pillar method.

We’re working with Ideal Parent Figures and imagining scenes of ideal secure attachment behaviors and ideal self esteem. There is a lot of benefit to developing a felt sense of what these ideal behaviors are. The goal is to adopt this felt sense and outlook of the world so that your life and relationship reflect these ideals more often than they don’t.

However, I see many clients, people interested in IPF, and even practitioners fall into the trap of constructing a totally unrealistic, idealized view of w

Hey there! I know there aren't a lot of meditations out there on secure intimacy as an adult, so I want to make a few. This is the first one I've made on this theme. It's around feeling deeply seen first by the IPFs, and applying this intimate trust in a romantic partnership as an adult.

If it feels challenging or unsafe to experience feeling seen by IPFs, I don't recommend moving on to the romantic partner section. Secure intimacy meditation are meant for people who already have experience with IPFs and feel quite comfortable with their Ideal Parent Figures.

Hey all! I'm going to Uvita in January and I am trying to make sure I'll have reliable internet that will let me have smooth video calls during my time there.

There is one Airbnb I want to stay in, but they say their internet can go out fairly often. Is mobile data in Uvita strong enough that I can just rely on data for video calls instead?

Or should I find a place with better wifi?

Hey all! I know people have probably discussed this to death, but I've done a lot of digging and still can't quite make my decision.

I'm looking for a good quality, comfortable minimalist hiking boot to be used for hiking in not too rough terrain in warm weather (not desert, more forests and such).

I was looking at and really like the idea of the Vivobarefoot Magna Lites, but from what I hear it's really not water resistant at all. Since I'll be in warmer climates, I want something pretty breathable, and I understand breathable means it won't be water proof.

But I want a boot that can at least moderately water-resistant handle being in rain for a little bit without my foot getting soaked.

Hey all! I've uploaded a new video to my Youtube channel taking you through a meditation on feeling seen and understood by the Ideal Parent Figures. I've tried to keep it at a relaxed pace and included several pauses so you have time to develop the scene, as I've heard many on this subreddit are wanting more meditations like that.

Let me know how this goes and feel free to reach out if you have any questions :)
