I'm a DM for an ongoing campaign, and all our players are getting together to play in-person D&D for the first time in a year. We've been doing these reunions for a while and I have historically been the one to DM a session for them. This time around, I'd like to surprise them by actually getting to play alongside them. I'd like to do a one-shot within our existing campaign so we don't have to roll new characters; ideally I'd work with the DM to figure out the high-level one-shot to play, but I would leave the specifics to the DM to implement and modify as necessary.
