I recently got the old Thermarest Polar Ranger and the first thing I noticed is how claustrophobic it is. I got the long version which should accommodate 6' 6" (1.98m), but even at 6' 5" I'm completely jammed up on all sides (which may be because I'm 275lb/125kg).

Curious if anyone can help me out:

A) Is anyone familiar with the different models and able to speak on whether the extra inch of height and 3" width are noticeable on the newer one?

B) Are there any roomier alternatives that aren't super heavy and have similar features? Looking for those arm zips and something like the snorkel. Would definitely need to be below 0F, ideally -15 to -20F (-20 to -30ish C).

There is so little clear and so much contradictory information on the HDMI standards for nonstandard displays.

What I have:

1. LG 38GL950G - 1600p 144hz 21:9 Ultrawide (HDR 400)
2. Dell 4k 60hz 16:9

I am under the impression that HDMI 2.0/DP 1.2 is sufficient for the 4k60 monitor, while I think I need HDMI 2.1/DP 1.4 for the ultrawide panel. Is this accurate to get the full capabilities from my monitor?

And while I'm at it, does anyone know of a good KVM style switch for these? I am plugging 3 computers into 2 monitors each, but the UW only has a single DP and single HDMI port.

Is there a way within yt-dl to download every video (or at least extract the URL of every video) on a Youtube channel for a given day (or datetime range)?

Example:

Channel A has 4 videos total, 2 are uploaded since midnight yesterday. I want to download both of those videos, but not the other 2 older videos (there are plenty of options for downloading an entire channel's archive, that is not what I am trying to do).

Did some DDG searches for about 45 minutes, cannot seem to find the source of this issue. Anyone had a problem where the dock no longer appears, simultaneous with Cmd+Tab not working, Launchpad not working and Mission Control not working? I think these are all under the Dock process, but killall Dock doesn't work ("no matching processes were found", and yes I know it's case sensitive). The dock process actually doesn't appear to be running at all and I can't get it to launch. Spotlight does work but launching Launchpad or Mission control from there does not work. Restarting, NVRAM/PRAM reset didn't work. Installing the supplemental update now but this doesn't appear in

For me, compressed volume is the most important thing here. Looking for something to keep me from dying but at the smallest size:cost possible, figured some sort of quilt would do the trick? I run very warm, and am regularly used to sleeping in a house without properly working heat during harsh New England winters.

Thought I'd post this here to see if any of you guys have advice on the eGPU end of the spectrum. Key point here is whether it's a total waste of money to do a Radeon VII through a 2016 13" dual core i7 MacBook Pro for 4k gaming (I already have the monitor for design work, I don't have the desk space for a 1440p high refresh monitor, and that'd be additional cost).

If you think it's worth it, do y'all have any better recs for my eGPU setup? AKiTiO Node v. Razer Core X, Radeon VII vs Vega 64 vs 2080 Super (+ scripts/driver headache), etc.

I'm a software engineer and UX designer currently running a 13" dual core 2016 MacBook Pro (mainly for design software like Sketch and InVision, Xcode, and Logic Pro X) through a 27" 4k 60Hz Dell U2718Q. The display is perfect for doing design work (high resolution, great color accuracy, low price), though my dual core i7 with integrated graphics is starting to kill my ability to run this 4k display with just Logic or Sketch open, let alone with anything else on top of it.

I’ve got a 2013 Honda Fit Sport (5 speed MT) with about 148k miles on it. (Got it at around 142k)

I’ve had issues where on a cold start after a few hours plus of not driving (temp ranging from 40 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit) I get the engine cold light on. While the light is on, the car stalls if I put it into neutral or with the clutch in (especially up a hill or crawling through a parking lot). Once the engine is warmed up, the light goes off and the issue disappears.

In addition, I’ve had 3 instances where I get a code for a cylinder misfire, engine bogs down and so I pull over to stop the car and wait a bit. The first two times I let the engine cool and then turned the car back on and dro

Looking for a solid pair of pants to hike in with at least a 36" inseam. Unfortunately the hiking community tends to run thin after 34", wondering if there any other folks out there with some cheap, tall hikeable pants. A variant of this question has been asked a few months back, but looking for cheap alternatives since the majority of the items on there are over $50. I'm aiming for ~$35, only need these for a few hikes since I do most of mine in the winter. Hell, even light jeans or something would work, but all the long jeans I've found so far are pretty expensive.

Issue: The driver’s automatic window (only automatic window on the car) rolls up fine unless I pull all the way for it to automatically go up. When I do that, the window rolls all the way up then immediately rolls all the way back down, every time.

Anybody know how I should approach this?
