Me - 38M, only underlying condition is occasional acid reflux, moderately active but improving (I can run a few miles with short rests), healthy weight but would not say massively healthy diet (not too much volume but e.g. too much processed)

Goals - energy, focus, breath, generally 'feeling good'

I am looking to start what I think is a pretty basic supplement stack on top of making diet and activity improvements

  • NAC 1000mg daily
  • Glycine 1000mg daily
  • Rhodiola 500mg daily
  • A multivitamin. Tbh I'm looking at the Thorne Basic Nutrients. I know there is some hesitation around Thorne at the moment, but this seems to have so many of the recommended nutrients that go with NAC - Selenium,

So my dad is a farmer, and lives in Europe, but will be visiting me next month. It's his first time in the USA. I'd like to take him to visit an American farm while he's here as I think he'd be really interested to see one.

Does anybody know of any open farms that you can visit?

I'm struggling because everything I'm finding is the "apple picking and hayrides" type of farm visit experience, more geared towards fall activities and families. I might take him to this kind of farm too, but I'd like to find somewhere where he can see more of a "working" farm; see some livestock (cows and sheep mainly) at pasture, see some of the machinery, the farmyard etc., and maybe purchase some produce.

Hi there,

I'm planning a week long trip to San Ignacio area in mid-November, flying in November 10th and back out on the 17th. Have a couple of questions if anyone could give some advice and thoughts:

Weather

Literally the one thing that's giving me pause is the weather. I know it's a gamble, I'm originally from a country with pretty changeable weather so I know you can't really predict it! And I know November is a shoulder month straddling wet/dry, but even a vague gut feel would be helpful, is it a very high risk that we would see heavy and consistent rain in mid November?

Transport

I'm planning NOT to rent a car - I feel like from what I've read this should be ok, but let me kn

Right. So someone bought me a flightgift voucher. I’m aware of how shit FlightGift is and the markup they charge etc but I’ve now booked the flight through their site.

I have a FlightGift reference number now, but will I also receive a booking reference for the actual airline at a later point? I wasn’t able to do seat selection on purchase, and will need to do things like advance passenger information later on. Essentially will I be able to manage my booking, check in etc direct with the airline? Or am I stuck dealing with this shoddy company throughout the pre-flight process?

Not sure if there is a plan for 'official' episode threads or something, so apologies if I'm stepping on any toes, but I've just watched through episode 1 and wondering what people think?

SPOILER ALERT

Consider everything below a potential spoiler for episode 1. Seriously, do not read on if you have not seen Episode 1. I will add spoiler tags just in case. Also do NOT add anything which relates to episodes 2 onwards.

!Well they're definitely going for a successor to The Genius!<

!A virus themed game was a choice!<

!A complex hidden role game is Episode 1 definitely throws back to something like Food Chain. I like the choice overall in terms of opening episode drama at least, as i

I'm a temporary visitor to NJ (and indeed the US), so I'm not used to some of the specifics of travelling in the area, including the toll plazas.

I was driving today through the Eatontown North toll plaza coming on to Garden State Parkway. I don't have EZPass as I'm not permanent here, and I didn't realise it was going to be coin only - I had some bills but not $2.10 in coins. I had no option but to drive through without paying.

I understand that it takes a picture of your license plate and sends you a mail with the toll to pay plus extra fees or whatever. However, to add extra complication, I was driving a ZipCar so it's obviously not registered to me.

So my question is - is there some w

Not sure if this is a Google Fi issue, or a Capital One issue, but figured I'd start here...

I'm from the UK, but will be splitting time between the UK and USA for the next few years for work. I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra, bought directly from Samsung in the UK.

Recently, while in the USA, I got a Google Fi SIM (physical not eSIM) for my American number. I'm now using dual-SIM with my UK and USA SIMs. I also opened a USA bank account with Capital One.

I'm in the UK right now, and when I try to sign on to my Capital One online banking, it needs to verify me using a call or SMS. I can't seem to make this work - my phone doesn't receive a call, and I don't receive an SMS.

What I've tri

Home networking noob here, apologies. Have tried digging a bit through the sub but didn't find an exact answer to my question.

So I have my modem/router in a downstairs room, and am going to run an ethernet cable up to an upstairs office (directly above the room with the current router), with two goals in mind. First, to connect a few devices in the office via LAN (PC and PS5, primarily). Second, to extend the range of my wifi to some of the other upstairs rooms which are a bit spotty at the minute (the office itself is good and stable) .

So what I think I need is the functionality of a switch to allow the wired connections to the PC and PS5, and also a wifi extender (if that's the ter

I'm very close to pulling the trigger on buying a razer kishi - I love the form factor.

The one thing holding me back is lack of a headphone jack or audio pass through using the USB-c port. From anything I've read, the audio lag using Bluetooth headphones is really annoying for gaming.

I was wondering does anyone know if there is any news out there about a potential successor to the kishi from razer, that might improve on the original and allow some option apart from bt headphones? Or any other controllers on the horizon with a similar form factor? I absolutely love the look of the backbone one but it's iOS only :(

Hoping this is allowed here, browsed the rules and it didn't seem to be breaking any...

I am moving house in a few weeks, and it looks like there will be a period of about three days in the new house until I have my ISP take over the line and start with my broadband service.

It will be difficult for me to go without anything even for a few days due to work etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions for bridging this gap?

I know some of the mobile providers have like 4g hotspot routers - does any such thing exist with more of a 'pay as you go' model that I could top up for a few days? I can't even think of any other potential solution. Any suggestions welcome!
