Hello everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful and blessed weekend. This will be my first year observing Ramadan with my local Muslim community (I wasn’t sure if I should post here in r/islam) who have provided me with my first prayer mat and an app that has the times of everything and more on it. But as kind and as helpful they’ve been. I’m running into a few roadblocks that if anyone would be willing to answer I would be most grateful.

1. The main calendar says that it starts the 17th but the app I was provided says that it starts on Thursday? (I’m in the SW of the US).

2. I’m not sure which prayer(s) to say or what to say at each of the times of day?

Hi. I just wanted to send a shoutout to all the cosplayers who visit hospitals. I'm a supervisor at an ED as well as ICU, and I just want to say thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart the joy you bring when you come visit the kids. When you come as heroes, princesses, film and other anime characters, you are uplifting so many hearts. Not only the hearts and spirits of the kids, but also the nurses, doctors, and we in admin who see them and their families on their hardest days. Question for anyone who’s been blessed by Hephaestus who can be commissioned to create a few statues: I have been trying to find the right icons for a few of the gods I worship—Dionysus, Pan, Heracles, Ares, Poseidon, and Eros—but so far haven’t found the ones that feel right. I worship these beautiful gods in all the realms, but I particularly love their connections to phallus worship, fertility, virility, and sexuality, and as such would love to have them made nude with certain emphases these parts of their figures. If anyone can do this on commission or can point me in the right direction, I would forever appreciate it. 🙏😁

Hey everybody, I just wanted to make a post sending a warning out that a friend of mine who's been missing his pet for a while was approached by a person on Messenger saying they had his pet and wanted to meet up to give him his pet back. When he arrived at the designated spot, they practically approached it like a hostage situation where they had parked a bit back and were only willing to have my friend see the pet if he sent half the reward money first and the other half when he was given the pet.
