I (34M) have been with my gf (28F) for about a year. The relationship is amazing and I love her with all my heart.

The only issue has been sex. She has had some sexual trauma in the past, but I don't know exactly what because she's never discussed which is fine.

For the first 8 months our sex life was decent. She had a decent sex drive and would actually wake me up for sex pretty often. We usually had sex at least once every weekend. I wanted it a lot more than that, but I was willing to compromise.

I don't know what happened, but the last 4 months her sex drive has tanked. One thing is she missed period, we did pregnancy tests and she wasn't pregnant. She had her period a month later so

I 34(m) have been with my incredible gf 28(f) for about a year. I have had several long term relationships, I've been in love several times, but with her it was different. From the beginning there was a deep connection I've never felt before, a comfortablity, and a passion and affection.

The first couple times we were intimate I went down on her and she didn't return the favor, eventually I asked her about it. Her sexual experience was only a couple people, and she'd never done any foreplay at all. I asked her if she was against it, she said no she just needed to get comfortable.

As the relationship went on, she never got comfortable with it, I've tried to communicate about it twice but sh

Freaking Ty Lue

Discussion

I know its playoff day and this is random but been thinking about the KD vs Steph story line that will happen these playoffs.

Most people say KD was the best player on those 2017 & 2018 teams. Mostly because of the finals.

I think its easily arguable that Steph had a better series in every other series besides the finals. Especially the real finals vs the rockets in 2018.

The only real series you'd argue KD > Steph was the finals. But as well know, Ty Lue has openly said his entire defensive focus was on shutting down Steph. He sent traps/doubles constantly, and basically gameplanned on slowing down Steph. I'd argue this is the main reason KD had such insane series. And why we've had this

Draymond without Curry

Player Discussion

I've seen this brought up a lot in basketball circles. It goes back and forth on how good Dray would've been without Steph and without the system.

I've personally been back and forth on it. Dray is absolutely one of the best defenders of his generation and that doesn't seem arguable. Although his offensive inefficiencies can be absolutely glaring.

He has an extremely unique skillset where he is a solid passing bigman but also is not a scoring threat at all. Almost every other team wants the ball in their best offensive players hand for most of the possession, and in this system its arguable how much of a liability Dray would be.

I think we saw a glimpse of it in the finals. Almost every t

So my car was broken into last night. Window smashed and a bunch of stuff stolen. One thing they took is ALL the paperwork in my glove compartment. A lot of it has identifying information. Name, DOB, car registration, insurance, address etc.

Is there anything the DMV can do to help prevent identify theft or anything else they could use my information for? Don't really know what to do.

So I heard a weird noise outside, like something dragging, and its a skunk with its head stuck in a plastic container. It's just walking around bumping into things and it breaks my heart.

I tried to get it off, but the thing is on there good, and tbh I'm terrified off it spraying me or biting me. FWIW it didn't spray when I grabbed it and tried to pull the container off. Container is on there super good though.

Animal control doesn't open until 3 hours.

Also just want to be clear, the plastic container it got its head stuck in is no from me, I think he got it from the neighbours house and blindly wandered here. Looks like he can't get out of my yard because it can't see.

Fuck this sucks

I already had a very low opinion of police and prosecutors. But I found this sub and have now listened too in the dark season 2, culpable, and now bone valley.

The fucking injustice, corruption, pain, incompetence, it's all so fucking much. I'm a calm relaxed guy but this shit is so infuriating.

Also can't a coincidence all these cases happen in republican states, with conservative prosecutors and judges.

I knew our justice system had problems, institutional racism and other things. But holy it's so God damn fucked.

I needed to vent. I'm going to take a break and find a podcast about rainbows and puppies.

Do you guys think his success kinda proves it will be hard to have a 2nd star shine next to Luka? Last year I was arguing with people who were trying to say Luka was carrying scrubs. Mavs had an elite defense and Brunson was a really good 2nd option he was just held back by the style of ball they played.

When Luka is on the floor, rest of the team turns into spot up shooters, and because of Luka's pace you usually only get the ball with a few seconds left on the shot clock.

Brunson looking like a legit all star now. He was about this good last year, he just couldn't shine. He murdered the Jazz when Luka was out, and everyone tried to say its just because the Jazz defense was awful. Nah tha

So I've tried to read the law but it is very vague. It says preventative care or diagnosis for an existing health condition for you or your family.

Does this not cover sudden illness? For example, if your direct family member, say a parent, suddenly needs to go to the hospital, would sick time not cover that?

My work is trying to deny sick time and discipline a team member who left early because their parent overdosed on sleeping medication.

Random Wizard & Glass questions

Spoilers- Wizard and Glass

So I'm re-listening to this amazing book and just a couple random questions popped into my head.

Why didn't Roland send word back like Cuthbert suggested? At the very least to warn them, if not to send help. I know there was a war going on, but sending a single gunslinger could've made a huge difference. If they failed he could've fucked the entire affiliation smh. I get he was love struck, but its also kinda implied he was right with all his decisions besides how he handled the affair. At a certain point, after Roland had realized their plan to use the oil, Jonas and Rimer are talking about the boys and its stated that its still not too late for them to send messages and receive help from

My God I hate this character more than I've ever hated anything. I have a visceral reaction to her. She's worse than any villain in any story.

I think part of it is so many people like her truly exist. She's basically the Karen meme personified . Selfish, entitled, greedy people like her are a huge cause to the problems in this country, and in this world. Just a selfish, evil person who doesn't care about anyone but herself and thinks everyone owes her everything.

To do that to her dead brothers kid. After he took her in.

It's genuinely infuriating to read her parts.

In short, fuck aunt Cordelia, all my homies hate Cordelia
