Please hear me out: God is LOVE. God created you out of love. He loves you more than the most perfect Father ever could, and wants you to love Him and others in return. That’s why the greatest command given by Jesus is “Love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and the second command is ‘love others as yourself”.

What’s that got to do with the meaning of life you may ask? So the meaning of life is to ‘live in love’ (NOT LUST) as commanded by God and in obedience to Him….the PERFECT, ALL LOVING, ALL KNOWING GOD. Then, once you’ve passed the ‘one-time test’, coped with all the trials and tribulations (assisted by God through them ALL - if you truly love Him

As Christians, our ‘identity’ is to be found in Christ. Our body is a Temple to The Holy Spirit…..we are not permitted, NONE of us, to live in a state of unrepentant sin, for most of us that means in a state of sexual immorality. Otherwise, His whole Ministry was useless.

I say this in a spirit of contemplation, NOT condemnation. After all it was The Divine Counsellor who said: I come to forgive, not to condemn. So He is the God of Compassion, Love and Forgiveness for NOW. He will return as He promised, to be the One and Only Just and Righteous Judge.

That’s why, in my humble opinion, the only True Church is the One founded by Jesus Christ Himself…..the Catholic Church. Please he

Could I suggest you read it through the ‘lens of love’ where Almighty God gives His children laws, for their own protection and to stop others from taking them down a very dangerous path. Or He gives them ‘laws’ so that the dignity of others is recognised and protected. Still, He loves and forgives His wayward children over and over again for their disobedience and rebellion (Old Testament) and then takes human form, as Jesus Christ, (New Testament) to teach us about love, compassion, forgiveness, kindness, hope, joy and was known as The Wisest Counsellor, providing ‘The Blueprint’ on how to cope with life, every addiction and affliction?

I give this OP in the spirit of contemplation not condemnation. After all, it was The Divine Master Himself who stated: “I come to forgive, not to condemn.”

He also said that we are to live by His two greatest commandments daily: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and love your neighbour as yourself. So with the first commandment doesn’t that mean we are to strive to follow God’s perfect Will and Laws? Wouldn’t this include commandments regarding the sanctity of EVERY life?

Do we not need to acknowledge His Divine Sovereignty - that everything we have, including life itself, is a gift from God? Isn’t He the ultimate Author and Sustainer of all exist

First of all I respond with the intention of providing clarification, not condemnation…..after all, The Divine Master said He came to forgive, not to condemn.

The truth is, as Christians, we are ALL to find our identity in Christ. For we have been transformed by the renewal of our mind. We understand, and feel privileged to know that our body is a Temple to the Holy Spirit and, therefore, is NOT to be defiled. How ‘empowering’ is that actually - when you think about it deeply? This is Christ, both honouring us as Children of The Most High, but also obliging us to live in obedience to His Perfect Will and Law.

Firstly, I stand here as a shocking sinner….in the greatest need of His Mercy…..and I offer this OP not in the spirit of condemnation but contemplation.

The word ‘devil’ is derived from the Ancient Greek word diábolos meaning "slanderer" or "false accuser". This word itself ‘diabállein’ literally means "to throw across" (i.e., to hurl accusations or create division). Isn’t that EXACTLY what is happening today? Let me explain:

God ‘permits’ evil - for those who choose it. He does NOT condone it. His enemy, the devil does. He did not usher in pain, sorrow or suffering….the devil did.

God is LOVE. He created Adam and Eve, (the human race) because He wanted to love them and they to love Him
