With the brawl requiring slightly too many wins to complete, I tried to find a ship which requires lest effort and maximizes the chance for a win,

and Scharnhorst 43 fits this perfectly:

• fast reload torpedoes(45second base) help you to deal with BBs

• secondaries melt DDs and overwhelm AI BB DCPs, as they use DCP on one fire, so circling secondary focus between multiple BBs maximizes your amount of running fires at once (if you want to give some effort to the playstyle)

• Main battery, if you wanna bother, helps to delete cruisers and helps to quickly destroy any russian BBs or british BCs.

• then just turn on the EB at the beginning of game and rush, just watchout for DD torps

Almost any 1v1 ranked with BBs is dominated by german BBs and BCs,

as expected, torpedoes, secondaries, most of them come equipped with hydro too, all great,

so I decided to take Rodney out of a port, and I have to say that it feels great so far,

the front launching arcs for torpedo-nukes mean you can defend yourself against pushing BBs, heals allow you to outlive the enemy, and guns are more than enough to finish off the enemies,

What does it do?

• Important characteristics
  • Range
  • Torpedo spotting range
  • Duration
• Used for:
  • Spotting the torpedoes in advance
  • Spotting ships hiding in smoke or behind islands beyond RGA*
• You can find your Sonar and Radar range by going into "Options" screen

*Range of guaranteed acquisition, standard range is 2 km, if TSA is mounted in the 3rd slot, it is 3 km

Today we are going to cover another commonly found consumable, smoke screen generator, be it the standard, crawling or running variant, they all function pretty similarly.

What does it do?

Smoke screen generator creates clouds of smoke during its duration (dispersion time) which then stay on the surface for the given duration.

Important things to take note off:

• smokes serve as torpedo and radar magnet, always position yourself in a way where you can leave easily
• it doesn't affect only your line of sight but also breaks the line of sight of others in a similar way as tall islands do
• standard smoke covers the ship only whilst moving at 1/4 speed
