Before I begin, the Earth is not fucking flat.

Anyway...

To begin with, the reason this is even a question is because both Soul Society and Heuco Mundo are artificial- they were created when Soul Society committed it's "original sin" of capturing and imprisoning Reiō and splitting the one world into three.

Hueco Mundo has a moon which we always see as a crescent because the planet is casting a shadow on it.. meaning Hueco Mundo must be a planet (and must have a sun too, but it is never seen).

Soul Society on the other hand.. well.. is it flat?

Can we prove that it is not?

And can you go to Space in Soul Society? I say.. no?

So it kinda does make sense to me if
