I’m only at 4+ weeks but everything I try to eat is just gross. My appetite has also disappeared. I’m a pastry chef and have a pretty good palate. Lately I’ve been complaining to the head chef that everything they make is too salty. He presented new menu items last night and I thought they were all terrible! Why were these people swooning over them?

I tried to get a bowl of noodle soup on the way home and I had issues with everything. I wanted to send it back. I barely ate it. I had to stop myself and realize that probably most restaurant food will not satisfy me for awhile.

On my drive home from the restaurant, I spotted a loquat tree. I thought, “YES! That’s what I want!”

I was mixing pizza dough on speed 2. I turned my back and heard a crash. Her neck broke right into two pieces. THE HORROR. This Hobart was still going strong after 30 years and I KILLED it.

The only thing to do is keep the motor as a spare part.

I still can't believe I did that. I wasn't monitoring it like I should have been.

Trying to plan a solo road trip from LA in late August. I've never been to Colorado, but I'm interested. Is it worth a visit for a few days? What are some surrounding areas with must see views? I also like different food and oh yeah I know next go nothing about Colorado. Thanks!

So I'm a chef (pastry) and have been doing this a good amount of time. My cousin's kid is totally into it and his mom wants to start his "training" ASAP with her in the kitchen and make recipes from the Costco cookbooks (actually decent). I want to expand his mind as early as possible so he can get in there and realize what it all means. Dude he was just enthralled with what I do and was staring at me all night a d asking questions.
