Hey,

I've received an automated call with instructions to start the pre-employment process. In the message, they stated that an email would be sent with instructions, but I never received it. I checked all my folders, including my spam/junk folder, and it was not to be found.

I sent an email to examsunit@nyct.com for assistance, but what would you recommend? Does anyone have the correct department to contact for help?

If you received the email, what does it say? PIC?

Pernicious anemia? Confused by my Doctor

Feedback requested/Question

This was posted I created on Pernicious Anaemia Society. I'd also like to post it here for analysis. More insight from comments.

Hey,

I tested my B12 on 5/23/23; it was low at 181 pg/ml. I came to the doctor with complaints about burning in my leg, arms, and head, which I thought was nerve pain. I had an adverse reaction to SSRIs about 9 years ago at this point. Now I'm trying to determine if it was due to B12 deficiency; I was looking for a root cause for my nerve pain and numbness.

I was then treated with cyanocobalamin, a loading dose of 1000 mg once a week for one month, th

Postive for SIBO, worried a out crashing

Feedback requested/Question

Gastroenterologist tested my postive for SIBO and IMO, methane and hydrogen dysbiosis, and gave me one round of antibiotics. Ive seen people crash on these and i know with my luck ill crash too. Maybe not, but the risk is there.

I got the meds a few months ago and still have not taken them. Ive also canceled my future appointments because there is no point in follow up.

I've seen people on r/sibo go multiple round with no progress. So, obviously that's not an ideal situation for someone who is sensitive to drugs. I can go herbal but is there a pill that be minimize a crash or die off symptoms? Herbal is "lighter" but even that have side effects that lead to crashes.

Hey,

Recently, I changed my @ or root A record to a new IP address. I have my site on a different server now but have not had the site up because the CNAME has not propagated, according to hosting customer service. I have the CNAME set in both Cloudflare and my registrar, and AI is telling me that it should be in one place, either Cloudflare or the registrar. Is that why it's not propagating correctly? Would Changing the record to DNS only fix it, or do I just need to wait?

I tested positive for both SIBO and IMO, and my Doctor prescribed me Rifacimin and Neomycin. I'd like to try the supplement mentioned by Youtuber C C and use Artichoke and Ginger root extract. I've picked out some options, and I would like some options/recommendations about the one I've found.

Artichoke:

Jarrow Formulas Artichoke 500 mg

Ginger Root:

NOW Foods Supplements, Ginger Root (Zingiber officinale) 550 mg

As you can see from my labs, I am borderline of being diagnosed with pernicious anemia. My doctor didn't say I do, but he said I don't create B12. I responded by saying I was on the borderline of the intrinsic factor Abs and anti-parietal cell antibody, but he said it could not be effective enough. I don't have all of the hematology most people ask for because I'm limited by my insurance, but I have some results I got over a year ago; see labs.

Also, I've had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy, which came back normal.

Do I have pernicious anemia? Do I need to see a specialist? If so, who?
