There has been a curious divide in this sub between people calling the headset blurry and others, for whom it appears to be much sharper. Of course, there is tons of good advice on how to find the sweet spot etc., but for many people (including myself) this does not fix the issue. Because there can be another issue, not with the headset itself, but with its users, particularly if they are VR newbies.

It is called vergeance-accomodation conflict:

Essentially, due to limitations in current VR displays, your brain has to unlearn the relationship between the distance

Round 3. Monsters vs. Monsters. Opponent was playing a consume deck. I was playing with Eredin as my leader. I had last say.

  • I used heatwave early in the round to banish Ruehin and to make him feel comfortable consuming.
  • He had quite some juicy reset targets, so as my second-to-last play I reset a 17 point bronze with Spores.
  • This was a pretty good play, but my opponent paused for a moment and must have thought I made a huge mistake not waiting for the last turn (he still had two leader charges for Overwhelming Hunger).
  • My opponent apparently decided to mock my "mistake" by consuming everything on his board and creating a single, 49 point unit.
  • "All is as it should be."

First off: I am not complaining, just curious.

Why would there be such a rush if the console will be sold out everywhere anyways?

The retailers could have just waited until the time set by Sony and sold the exact same amount. And if someone goes first, they would just run out of their stock faster..but still sell the same amount.

Or is the amount of stock allotted to each retailer based on how quickly they can accumulate preorders? (Which wouldn’t make a lot of sense if they are sold out...)

I don’t know all of the effects of all cards and often I pull something from my opponent without really knowing what it is or what it does and play it, only to find out afterwards how it actually works.

I do not see any option to look at the cards description while playing it (I use a controller).

Edit: “Is it possible to see the details of a card stolen from an opponent before playing it?“ ...my phone keyboard saw it fit to autocorrect half the question away...

Edit 2: Found a workaround: https://reddit.com/r/gwent/comments/dd4bnd/_/f2ebwc0/?context=1

I have been waiting for years for this to be fixed and it finally happened!

For anyone wondering what I am talking about: When Safari was in fullscreen mode and you exited a fullscreen video (such as a YouTube video), the exit animation would jerk back to the left most desktop before returning to Safari. Now it just goes straight to Safari, as it should.

I have a Lumia 950 running the latest Redstone insider preview and an LG G3 running Android Marshmallow.

I prefer the 950 overall (it has replaced the G3 as my daily driver), but I can't help but notice that apps on the G3 simply launch way faster. Even a lot of the modern Windows apps are a lot slower on Windows than on Android (e.g. OneDrive).

I know that for some apps this can be blamed on outdated technology and lack of effort from devs, but since this is such a widespread issue, I am beginning to wonder whether there is some fundamental issue with the way apps are built on Windows.

Even poorly made Android apps usually feel faster than well made Windows apps.

This morning I have a very interesting input but in Edge.

I can't type the letters "w", "a" or "y" into the address bar. It is only those letters, all others appear to work. It happens on both the English and German keyboards (although the letters "y" and "z" have their positions switched, it is always the "y" that doesn't work.)

All letters work fine in the rest of the system, and they also work within Edge itself if I type them into a textbox on a website.

I don't know what triggered this and I don't believe this bug was present all the time since installing this build (14328).
