Currently unsure if any other platforms have gotten updates that fix the bug yet.

1.14.105 was already the current version for PC when the bug was found, and Poncle haven't posted an updated patch notes with PS5 getting it (I wouldn't be surprised if they simply don't publically acknowledge the weapon existing at all for a while longer, though).

It's likely the PS5 1.14.105 is a slightly different build; if your game's updated today check if this fix has made it to your platform as well. It's likely the next hotfix for each platform is going to fix this bug.

...the weapon's a lot better than I expected, as well.

For the unaware, the 1.14 update that just released has added new weapons (with evolutions) and evolutions for all the single stage master librarian weapons to the Ode to Castlevania DLC. These new weapons and evolutions do not get ? spots n the collection, only appearing once you've used them at least once.

I've already evolved all of them, so I thought I'd post the evolution combos needed for them. This list only contains the evolution pairs - it'd be more fun to find out what each of them turns into for yourself (if you didn't spoil yourself with the patch notes)

The majority of the new evolutions are unions (require a weapon instead of a passive).

RPG Mode in GBVS uses a rather convoluted progression system for player equipment. Having played through it and found every weapon, I figured I'd make a guide that simply shows what grids a player can build. These grids are not necessarily optimal, but should be close. In most cases I've opted to the side of accessibility.

For the most part I'm going to leave out the theory as to why these grids use the exact combination of weapons they do. Largely speaking, it follows the same logic as grid building in the mobile game (mix multiple modifiers to avoid diminishing returns where possible). Some ratios of grid building for this game differ slightly to the mobile game due to only having a s

Thought I'd post this for anybody that wants to know how to get the weapon skins for each character.

Each character has 7 weapon skins. 6 need to be unlocked in RPG mode. All unlockable weapon skins can be acquired through crafting or mission rewards.

  • Weapon 1: Default weapon.
  • Weapon 2: Vyrn weapon. Each is unlocked through a Bonus Mission in RPG mode, listed at the end of this post.
  • The mission requirements for these weapons are deliberately obscured in-game and have been discovered by the community. I take no credit for this.
  • Weapon 3: Craftable weapon. Additionally, randomly drops from the character's Hard mode raid.
  • The drop rate can be particularly low if this

RC7's about to arrive, and all the sphere recipes available in RC7: Fire are in the sphere house already, as well as the recipe (but not stats) for the Seventy-two Forms sphere.

So I thought I'd make a checklist for each sphere we can craft.

Since this has been confusing a bunch of people into thinking there are weird bugs going on, I'll explain what's going on with this:

  • Korzan has an SP enhancement that costs 10 SP, which gives him 100% all elemental mitigation for 1 turn at the start of battle.
  • However, in the arena, people have been seeing it last for 2 or even 3 turns. This is actually normal behaviour, but nobody's ever really noticed it (or at least complained about it) with other "[Buff] for first X turns effects". In fact, it's even applying to stuff like Lotus Manuscript.
  • So Korzan's getting up to 2 extra turns. What's up with that?
  • Firstly, all enemy units receive +1 turn on "first X turns" effects - or rath

It is now nearing 100 hours since Amazon users with FB-connected accounts have actually been able to play the game. I haven't been able to login since 7:00 PM local time on the 12th; it is (as of writing) 10:30 PM on the 16th. The version update that fixed this mess for Android users still hasn't appeared on the Amazon appstore.

As for the Samsung version, I don't even know. Their appstore apparently has no website and can only be accessed via the app for it.

Meanwhile Gumi are running all events as scheduled, except for extending the ABP/CBP event until the end of today (and it's really starting to look like Amazon users won't even be able to make use of what little remains of that). T

tl;dr: Ihsir's Wiles deals extra damage when used on a unit that has burst heals (with multiple healing ticks) or multiple attacks. The extra hits from Ihsir's Wiles will normally perfect spark against the extra hits a unit might get from an ES or SP enhancement.

So Ihsir's Wiles is a silly sphere that does silly things.

Let's break it down:

  • Ihsir's Wiles adds an additional attack to the equipped unit. This attack is an ST with a base BB mod of 600%, and 200 flat ATK, which are normally pretty standard values for a third attack.
  • The attack has an effect delay of 0 frames, but occurs after all non-SP proc effects, meaning on global units it should normally be buffed by any buffs
