Working in a recreation of the opener for the Marvel Studios Special Presentation, and I was wondering if anyone else had ideas for the initial color sticks that appear in the first three seconds of the intro. I’ve been building individual 3D sticks, duplicating them, changing their colors, and rotating them along the Y-axis with a 28mm camera to exaggerate the distance. My plan after the initial production of sticks as the camera rotates is to use a bunch of fractal-generated color lines, similar to how most people generate the Netflix logo lines, but I was wondering if anyone had a more efficient way of generating those initial sticks? Thanks in advance.

Currently restoring a commercial film from the 1960's with several scenes that use still images. The original still scenes were filmed with a camera that had registration problems, adding jitter to the still images.

I can't decide if it's a proper restoration to stabilize the jitter, removing the flaw in the original print and making the image reflect what the director intended, instead of what the camera delivered. Thoughts on the two approaches?
