I recently made a post about a drivetrain error in my 2019 Countryman PHEV. We found out that it's the alternator that needs to be replaced, which seemed simple enough. My brother owns his shop, does all the work on my Mini and I fully trust what he's telling me. He's never done me dirty and I have no reason not to trust him. He goes so far out of his way to help me take care of this car I love so much.
They ordered an alternator that they matched to my VIN. We should have been good to go. Part came, they tore my whole car apart to get to the alternator only to find out the ICE and PHEV alternators are completely different despite the part matching my VIN.
He spent all day yesterday tryin
I have a ‘19 Countryman PHEV and over the weekend I got an odd error that said something along the lines of “drivetrain malfunction please contact service center” while I was on the interstate. It flashed on the screen really quickly while I was driving and I couldn’t get a picture of it before it changed to just telling me to contact the service center. It didn’t give me any check engine lights.
Does anyone have any ideas what might cause this? I did a little googling and it suggested spark plugs, ignition coils, or the auto shifter. But I’m no mechanic and my husband is even less helpful.
I made an appointment with my usual mechanic to take a look at it tomorrow, but I’m concerned that
We picked up our daughter on the side of the interstate in the middle of nowhere
reddit.com/gallery/17y7m1vIs there like..a person that picks up packages from DHL and takes them to the post office for final delivery? They've tried to deliver to this person twice now. I live 3 hours away from Minneapolis. I've double checked all my shipping information and it's correct. I reached out to both DHL and the company I purchased from but haven't heard back from either yet.
Either way, I'm worried about my wedding dress.
Does anyone have experience with ordering wedding cakes from Nicholes? My fiancée and I went in for a wedding cake consultation this past weekend and I'm so taken aback by the service we received that I'm curious if this is a normal process or this was as absurd as I thought it was. We're not going to book with them after the experience we had but I'm curious about what anyone else has to say.
I had very minimal contact with Nichole before we met. I filled out the consult form online, exchanged a few scheduling emails, paid the deposit, and received a voicemail from her to reschedule our consult date.
-One of the first things she said when she sat down at our table was "Well, no one els
I live in what seems like the middle of nowhere and am having a small courthouse wedding and a reception afterword. I've been trying to book a photographer because the one thing I really, really want is photos. I've never had professional photos taken, and if there's a time, a wedding is it. I'm looking for someone to take pictures at the courthouse ceremony and then just some couples and group pictures with our immediate family. I really only need 1-2 hours of time.
I am having a hell of a time and I don't know what to do. I got so many rejections for wanting wedding photos but not an entire $5000 wedding photography package. I got to the point of booking with someone and she just won't s
Hey everyone.
I'm looking for hair stylist recommendations because I never get my hair done. I've only ever gone to Ulta for a quick cut. I'm not a stylist at all, but I use semi-permanent color at home myself. My hair is definitely damaged from at home bleaching. However, I'm getting married in April next year and I want to start the process of getting my hair to where I want it to be and actually get it professionally taken care of .
My hair has some natural wave and will curl nicely if I actually put products in it. However, for most daily wear, it gets worn straight or in a pony tail. I've got an undercut/faux mullet with lots of layers going on right now that I'm in the process of gr
My fiancee and I are planning our honeymoon in Ireland next year. We're both from the US and neither of us have ever traveled outside of the US before so we're learning how all this works. I want to make sure I have all this squared away and know what to do before we leave.
Can anyone offer any insight on what we have to do to make sure that we have phone service while we're there? Can we pop into any phone service provider to get SIM cards we can use there so we have data and don't have to completely depend on wifi?
I work at a small credit union as a loan processor. Ocassionally I help out at the drive up or as a teller when needed. We're a small place and know most of the people that come to our branch by name. One of the ladies I see regularly has a husband that I hate more than any customer I've ever met at a job. He isn't even a member of the credit union. He doesn't have an account. He isn't joint with his wife. He literally just comes with her to be a pain in the ass. The wife always apologizes and tells us that she tries not to bring him but sometimes she hurts so much that she can't drive.
I got him at the drive up today while I was covering lunch for a coworker.
