I just finished playing Jedi Survivor and I didn't like it. Don't get me wrong, the story was incredible. If it was a movie I would've seen it in imax.

The game itself I found to be unnecessarily tedious. Part of that is because they released an unfinished, buggy game. Looking beyond that, all the environmental obstacles in the game are obviously obstacles. They don't make sense.

I get that the point of any game is to overcome imagined obstacles. I think Horizon has ruined other games for me because the obstacles in Aloy's way make so much sense that I no longer perceive it as a game. Breath of the Wild also accomplishes this, as do the recent God of War games.

I'm left to wonder, am I

Hey Astoria!

Do you all know of any restaurants or bars that have a presentation space/ party room for rent? A blank wall to project on is all we need.

Thanks for your help!

I recently finished a re-watch and I have to say Jolene Jolene Blalock absolutely nails being a Vulcan.

In the Voyager episode Muse it is said of Vulcans that:

“Beneath the unfeeling exterior is a heart that’s breaking, silently, and in more pain than any of us could possibly understand because that is what it is to be Vulcan”

Blalock excels at showing us small explosions of emotion and then quickly reigning it back in. We see T’pol’s joy, sadness, love, and grief but more importantly we see her remember what it is to be Vulcan episode after episode.

It’s a bang up performance and she knocks it out of the park.

I would love to see her in more Trek.

Live long and prosper friends.

Starting "The Last Battle"

SpoilerA Memory of Light

There is a storm brewing outside, some tea steeping, and by the light I'm so freaking excited.

It's my second read through so I don't have to read it all in one go but mother's milk in a cup this is it.

Edit It is done. 6 hours later. I missed some parts in my first read through so there were still some surprises for me. Thanks for letting me geek out.

Going through a Voyager rewatch and I think a show with Captain Wildman at the helm would set a pretty solid foundation for a Star Trek series.

A girl born in the delta quadrant, longing to be Captain, goddaughter of a Talaxian, and whose best friend is Borg.

I think there's a lot of potential there for delta quadrant missions. It gives us a chance to see into Star Fleet's future as well.

The Expanse absolutely nails Miller's character coming back to life inside James Holden's mind. Even though Miller takes on a visible form I think that something similar could work really well for the relationship between Rand and Lews Therin.

Probably misspelled everybody's name.
