Moi!

I've recently moved here from London, and when I lived there I would go to Open Barbers to get my hair done, and they were absolutely wonderful. Do any of you know if there's anything in Helsinki that's similar? As my hair is shoulder length, would I be okay going in to any hair salon and getting a femme hair style done? Are there any you recommend?

Kiitos!

You'd think this would be an easy answer - "Just find a string stop that matches your brace height, and has a thread that matches your bow", you might suggest. Sadly not.

On the bow I have (cheap bow to get back in to archery with), instead of a (sensible) screw thread at the back of the riser, there's a 3/8" diameter, 11/16" deep hole with a grub screw about half way down in the side to hold the stop in place. The distance from hole to string is 6 1/4".

So, the questions I have, are;

1. Can I get something that would work as a replacement (fairly cheaply) in the UK, or am I better off trying to jury rig something out of some rod stock, clamps, and a string stop end?

2. There's a stabili

Hi all - i've had a bike with MicroShift brifters for about three years now, ridden daily. As you might imagine, the hoods on the brakes are now pretty much worn through - i'm wondering if any of you know of any compatible hoods that aren't microshift specific.

I can find replacements no problem like this, but they also seem to look similar to the Ultegra Hoods and wonder if they are actually compatible?

Thanks a ton!

Hi there!

I'm looking for somebody to take over my large double room in Forest Hill from ~20th of November; could that be you or somebody you know?

The neighbourhood is well connected; within walking distance of Catford, Catford Bridge and Forest Hill stations with buses to central London just around the corner. In addition, the house is on a quiet side street a few minutes walk away from local shops. Superstores (Sainsburys, Tesco et. al) are within a ten minute bus ride.

The room itself is about 25 square meters, with a nearly floor-to-ceiling bay window. The bed is a King size bed, and with the room there is also a chest of drawers and a book case, as well as ampl

Pretty much as the title would otherwise suggest. Post with when you're most available over the next month or so!

I remember there was a thread a couple of weeks ago about playing airsoft in a london park. I really hope they didn't actually go for it. Here's the article for more information; http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/aug/27/girl-three-shot-with-air-rifle-in-london-park?

For anyone looking, here's the thread in question; https://www.reddit.com/r/airsoft/comments/3hb3b2/is_airsoftbb_guns_allowed_in_public_uk/

Frying under the radar!
