I (moderate AP, sometimes DA) had a great “more than friends” LDR with a guy from September to February. He was the first to say “I love you” (in December), wanted to make things official, remembered little details about me and asked me about them all the time (like, asking me how Jeopardy was because I watch it every night as one of my granny comfort habits), gave me personalized birthday and Christmas gifts (asked me what my favorite bird was and got me gifts with my name and the bird on it), got into running and football because I’m a runner and love college football, and followed my running plan. Then he ghosted me at the beginning of the month. It sucked and the rumination drives me nut

Ok, long story warning.

This past summer I worked with this guy in July for work training in Kentucky. I’m getting out of a marriage with an alcoholic, he’s married as well. We were friendly, but didn’t interact much at first. In August, at the end of the work trip, we all got super drunk and I made out with him. We went our separate ways (me to NY, him to TX) and didn’t stay in touch at first. I finally messaged him 2 weeks after we went back to our homes to apologize for getting drunk and for what happened. This led to us texting back and forth. I asked him if he was doing this race in DC. He said no, but the next day he told me he had signed up for it and bought a plane ticket and hotel.

Even if the sidewalk is clear. I have never seen this anywhere else and it is such a mystery to me. Also it drives me crazy because driving in some parts of Rochester is like an obstacle course, avoiding pedestrians in the middle of the street and cars that are standing blocking the street. I need answers lol.
