I posted this on the main forums, but thought I'd also post here.
I have an edgeswitch lite configured to do L3 routing. I want to limit access between my main VLAN (20) and my guest VLAN (15). My AP tags my guest AP with VLAN 15, and the switch provides a dhcp ip for that vlan (192.168.15.0/255.255.255.0). I've confirmed devices connected to this guest ap are served the correct ips.
Following the command line docs, I do the following in order to setup an ip acl. However, this still allows traffic connected to my guest wifi to access my VLAN 20 servers, etc. Would apprecaite any insight as to wha

Recently a pronounced idle 'tick' occurs when the engine is below operating temperature. Goes away once the engine is warm. Driving when engine is below operating temperature doesn't produce the sound. Only when at idle. Seemingly invariant with anything.
Loud enough I can hear it in the cabin.
In the video, you can hear the normal boxer ticks, but there is a slow tick present.
I don't even know what to ask my dealer with this, so would appreciate any ideas. Doesn't have any symptoms of slap/knock etc. As it isn't present while driving. Fan etc is off and doesn't affect.
I have QoS DiffServ policies for ingress and egress that I want to apply to 0/1 in both the in and out directions. 0/1 is the interface to my router.
Whenever I try to attach my egress policy to 'Policy Out' in "Service Summary", I recive the error
Failed to attach one or more policies to the interface. Same if I try from CLI.
If I unplug the cable from 0/1, I can set both policies. When I plug it back in, I see
0/1 Inbound Up Ingress
0/1 Outbound Down Egress
Am I mis-understanding how outbound policies work?

EdgeSwitch Configuration Videos - VLANs, VLAN Routing, Routing Between Networks
community.ubnt.com/t5/EdgeSwitch/EdgeSwitch-C...In a jail, I have an openvpn tun client connected to a vpn.
I would like to tag all of the ovpn tun traffic with a specific vlan tag. I would like to tag all other traffic from this jail with a different vlan tag.
Is this possible?
As per title, I'd like to open mission control with option. Much like one would do with the expose like feature in gnome.
Is this possible?
My setup is: modem -> EdgeRouter Lite -> DLink gigabit DGS-1005D switch -> various wired clients. Everything is connected as 1000Mbps.
I've been having issues with streams (kodi/plex) from my nas to my shieldtv drop. As well, I've had other mystery congestion on the wired devices.
Since this switch is an old one I had lying around that was recently introduced to my network when I swapped in the ERL, I've been a bit worried the switch is failing/cannot handle full load. As a test, I setup iperf to run from my desktop (wired) to my NAS (wired) [connected through switch], while I had two simultaneous plex streams running. One stream to a wifi client (ap connected through switch), th
I'm struggling with the QoS traffic-shaping throughput on my ERL in a home environment (as per this thread).
Replacing the ERL with an ERX might be an option, however I am also in need a new switch, and have been looking at the EdgeSwitch lite. I'm wondering if I can kill two birds with one stone.
Can the ESL do ingress/egress traffic shaping / Smart-queue-esq QoS? Or something close to that? The docs aren't clear (or I'm misunderstanding).
What I would like: I would like to ensure voip traffic (for example) has highest priority entering/leaving, plex streams are capped, certain VLANs have priority over others, etc. Thu
I have 120/6 Internet and would like to do ingress and egress traffic shaping QoS.
I currently have an EdgeRouter-Lite which I have configured with priority queue. Enabling the traffic shaping reduces my down speed to 60mbps or so. This is obviously undesirable.
Is there any option other than going up to an er8(pro)? Can the edge switches do the QoS I want? It's unclear from the docs.
Is there some way to do traffic shaping without disabling the hardware offload and maintaining my down speed?

On the lockscreen, I held a persistent notification, then I selected the bell with a line through it. This removed the persistent notification. However I'd like to undo this. And dammed if I can figure out how.
Notifications are enabled for the app.
In app notifications are enabled.
But no persistent icon anymore
Any ideas?
