Im usually autistic with my builds where everything has to fit perfectly with perfect spacing, even power lines need to be aligned and all that so i want to challenge myself and build some nice spaghetti

How do you usually approach this? I know it might be a weird question, but like how do i not just try to build "efficiently"

Is that so?
Please explain to me the difference in the player experience between having 1 layer with 10 and 90 people in dungeons and 9 layers with 90 players spread across and 10 players in dungeons?

In both cases there is 10 players in each layer, the experience you get and the amount of people you meet being in the open world will be roughly the same, because thats literally what layering is designed to do

If blizzard had such a big problem with boosting then how come they are adding their own paid character boosts to every expansion, even in the latest tbc they sold character boosts and bundled it with one of their packs.

The real reason why they dont like dungeon boosting is

Personally im not a big raider and usually when raidlogging starts is when i lose interest in continuing to play the game
Raiding is usually too much of a hassle, too many people, always some people not showing up and delays, you always have to be online at a set time, i just wanna log in, play the game and run some dungeons, its what i enjoy the most besides PVP

I quit classic 2 times after farming pre raid bis on multiple chars and never set foot in a raid but once
I quit tbc 2 times after farming pre raid bis on multiple chars, did some kara gruul and maggi and quit

The most fun i had in the recent tbc launch was the first few days/weeks of heroics, nobody had gear and so the dif

I havent played the recent league because it didnt sound that interesting to me so im out of the loop a bit but how is the current league holding up now that some time has passed?

Are the changes good? have any new builds been discovered that havent already in 0.5?
Is it worth hopping in now for a bit before 1.0 or is it basically just 0.5 again?

This is obviously nothing new, melee dps always had difficulties finding groups or getting gear in classic and also TBC but i think a lot of people are misunderstanding the cause of this a little.

"yeah but mage aoe got nerfed and dungeon spam is nerfed" and thats true but here is the thing

If I as a tank always have the option to choose out of 100 dps that are all desperately waiting for a tank, why would i ever pick people that compete for my gear?
If im a warrior im not gonna pick a rogue who will roll on my axe, im gonna pick a mage.

As a tank i can make the group how i want and get all my loot, this further exacerbates the issue of tank (and also healer ) shortage because i can get

Anyone that played the most recent TBC launch knows that there are massive issues with mega servers

  1. the auction house was basically unusable for half of the day for months
  2. every open world farm spot in endgame was completely overcrowded, even at 3 am during a weekday you'd have issues, at some point a couple of weeks after launch blizzard significantly reduced the amount of layers because player numbers dropped and this made the issue even worse
  3. every ore node, every herb, every fishing spot, literally everything was overfarmed (and botted)
  4. open world questing was annoying and tedious, even my friends who didnt want to dungeon spam eventually realized that questing in the

So i thought about this a little bit and i came to the conclusion that this change might seem good at first but its actually a change for the worse in my opinion.
I played 2 times classic and 2 times tbc launch so i have relatively good experience with how the launches go

  1. The reason people started dungeon spamming to begin with wasn't because it was more XP efficient but because the open world is and will be completely overcrowded, i still remember multiple occasions where i'd go to quest areas at 3 in the morning during the week and it would still be overcrowded, let alone during peak times.
And this was while people were dungeon spamming, so i expect this to get even worse.

What did you consider the most fun class in classic and what do you predict will be the most fun class to play in forever?

To me in classic it was mage, it just can do everything, has an answer to everything and portals and free food are the cherry on top.

In forever i think mage will still be great but i have played it already and there is barely any changes made to the class, hunter having a melee spec and being able to use traps in combat sounds a lot of fun to me

Sorry if i sound a bit angry but im getting quite frustrated with this... we have waited for b42 for such a long time and i still continue to wait due to this bug, since i already "bricked" one save

How is this not a top priority thing to fix and patch? Its literally gamebreaking when hundreds if not thousands of zombies just "randomly" vanish all the time.
The modding community has already found and fixed the issue almost 2 weeks ago but it requires a very intrusive program because it needs to change core gamefiles.

More people need to be loud about this because this is kinda silly for how long we have been waiting for a fix
