Hi everyone! Wondering if anyone has a referral code for ftjco, engagement ring store in Toronto? Would be greatly appreciated and happy to share our code when we have it :)

Hi everyone, I'll be visiting NYC with a friend and we would love to see a late night show. The trouble is, it's a short trip, and we only have one evening free.

We want to maximize our chances on Iota to see a show (with a strong preference for Stephen Colbert).

My worry is that if we request tickets for multiple shows for that evening (e.g., stephen colbert, seth Myers, and drew barrymore), Iota will either (1) think we're bots and deny any tickets, or (2) limit ticket offers to one show.

What strategy would you recommend?

A) request only to see stephen colbert which is our preference

B) make multiple requests to shows, see what ticket offers I get, and select from there

Hi everyone! I’ve benefited so much from this community, I wanted to share my own experience with Dr Jun Lin in Toronto.

I know I was frantically looking for personal day of accounts right before my procedure so wanted to put this out there for anyone looking for something similar + give people an idea of the process leading up to this.

PRIOR TO PROCEDURE I found Dr Lin through this subreddit (woo!). Made an appointment with my family doctor (October), explained my RCPD symptoms, and asked for a referral specifically to Dr Lin. Luckily family doctor was happy to do so. I got an appointment 1-2 months later (December). Dr Lin asked a few basic questions, and did a quick in office laryng

Hope you guys are doing well. I've recently been trying to channel my post-interview over-thinking into something positive by reflecting on what these interviews have taught me -- about interview strategies, and myself as a person. I thought it would be cool to hear what you guys have learned, too. Were there any things you found really helpful that you would do again? Or were there any lessons you had to learn the hard way?

Some key lessons for me have been:

(1) If you mess up or stumble, it's ok. Just pause, take a deep breath and carry on. It also helped for me to internally laugh a little at myself when this happened (rather than freak out).

(2) Box breathing works wonders for nerves.

Thoughts? This is one I came across which I'm not sure how to approach. It's pretty out there.

You are a health researcher at an academic institution. You have been asked to work on a top-secret vaccine that would treat biomedical weapons or other communicable diseases. Before your break through, you are instructed by the government to stop all research and turn over all materials and copies of your work to be destroyed. You know you are very close to finding a cure. What do you do?

Ok I’ve been hearing a lot about technical issues with the Mac Kira Talent system. I’ve got my interview next week. Does anyone have any tips for navigating them? Is there anything we can do?

I left my interview feeling a little dejected... :') Some questions just did not go the way I wanted them to. Anyone have any tips for bouncing back or similar stories?

Does anyone know if we will have any collaborative task-based stations where we work together with other candidates? E.g. fold origami, do a puzzle, etc.. I feel like it would be difficult to coordinate using an online platform.

Hey, I'm prepping for an interview and was looking for a good repository of interview prep resources. Anybody mind sharing? :) We can collect them all here for everyone prepping rn.

I'm trying to decide whether I should go to Chestnut residence next term. For anyone who is there rn or knows someone there, what is it like? Is it worth it?

I want to go for the social aspects and res experience but I don't know how that balances against the changes due to covid (meals, limited elevator capacity etc.)
