So I've lately been collecting games for my retro consoles (N64, GB, GBC, GBA etc) and I always wanted a Saturn so bad as a kid but by the time I could save up the money it had basically already left the market.

I guess my question is if I don't already have hardware or games, is it worth getting into given that it was a flop in the US? Are games/systems scarce/expensive? Wondering if it's worth the time and investment vs just emulating or getting into Dreamcast collecting instead (another system I wanted that was dead by the time I was ready to get it).

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Finished Reload today and I absolutely loved it. I've beaten Persona 4 Golden and the OG Persona 5. Wondering what game people recommend I play next? I have 5 Royal and Tactica and also the Shine Megami Tensei 3 remake for Switch. Was wondering between those 3 what people would recommend or any other Atlus games or similar RPGs. Any feedback would be appreciated!! Also interested in the Q games for 3DS

I was the caregiver for my mom for years, she passed away a few months ago. I mostly lurked in here but the responses on the few posts I made were extraordinarily helpful. This is a hard thing, and most people don't understand what we as caregivers go through.

Just wanted to express my appreciation for the kind people in here who could lend support and understanding during some of my toughest times.

Never picked one of these up back in the day - I'd like to play and be able to transfer my pokemon once I'm done so I'd like a legit copy but seems like I'm gonna be stuck paying at least $150 unless I'm not thinking of places outside ebay?

Has anyone in the US had any experience with official (or non-official) battery and screen replacements? I believe you can get them done at ubreakifix. Ideally I'm going to keep my S23U for a long time and figure in a couple years I'll want to have one or both replaced.

Any feedback, positive or negative, would be greatly appreciated!

So I'm filling up my 3DS as much as possible - I've beaten Persona 4 and 5 and love the games so was considering picking up the Q titles. The thing is though, I've never really liked Etrian Odyssey. Are these games worth it to someone who is strictly a mainline Persona fan?

Any advice is appreciated.

I feel like I have nothing left to give. My mom has gotten so nasty and mean to me over the last two years. I'm trapped in this house I bought (with her help) to take care of her.

She routinely refuses to help with bills (think gas, electric, etc.) or pay her part of the house payement if she's mad at me. There is near constant conflict. I'm basically paycheck to paycheck. I don't know how much longer I can hang on.

I don't expect any sort of response. I just need to vent. I'm 32 and I feel like I've wasted 5 years of my life with no end in sight. It's impossible for me to envision a future where I'm not at best treading water. I'm never going to achieve any of my personal goals.

I've posted on here before. 32M here - long story short my mother has been living with me for a few years, has an autoimmune disease and multiple different types of arthritis. We have always had a bit of a - combative is too strong of a word but there's always been debate/some level of arguing. That sort of relationship.

This past December she was hospitalized twice for low sodium levels - had some seizures, hallucinations, delusions. For months afterwards she would periodically have these episodes where she was hallucinating/having delusions again. Thinking that there were people in the house or next door, etc. It was extremely traumatizing for me probably for obvious reasons. The doctors

Hey all - I'm looking for recommendations for an affordable desktop PC - at a minimum I'd like 8 gb of RAM, decent processor, and ability to do some light gaming (all the games I have on Steam are very old or easy to run - think stuff like Half-Life 2, Stardew Valley, Into the Breach, etc).

Ideally I'd want to spend less than $500 but I really have no concept of how expensive this sort of thing is these days especially with supply chain issues, inflation, etc.

Any advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I'd like to get a smaller (approx 8") tablet to complement my desktop PC and chromebook (I use a Samsung phone) with a solid screen, at least 128 gb of storage, and a decent update policy. Seems like my options are pretty sparse/nonexistent in the android world so I'm considering an iPad mini instead.

I'd prefer an android tablet since I'm primarily a Google/Microsoft user but doesn't seem like there's an option out there. Anyone have a recommendation for something I may have missed?

I care for my mother who suffers from autoimmune issues and arthritis amongst other things, has to use a walker, etc (I'm 32). Before we moved in together 4 years ago we had a bit of a volatile relationship but lately it has just been too much to deal with. She is incredibly demanding and I am so burnt out and so out of patience that we end up fighting and arguing constantly.

The past year has been especially terrible - she had seizures and ended up in the hospital twice. Delusions, confusion, etc. Things are better now but the worst thing is is that she refuses to believe me when I tell her a lot of the stuff that happened.

I feel so resentful and just....stalled out in my life. I feel li

I have the 128 gb/8 gb Surface Go 1, it still works mostly fine for my purposes but is getting a little slow, and it definitely would be nice to have a little more power for a couple things. My question is, is it worth it to get the i3 version of the Surface Go 3? Or would I be better off saving the money to go with the Pentium?

If the difference in performance is significant I'd go with the i3 - I'm just not up to date on processors these days. Any insight would be appreciated - also, if I'm better off just sticking with the OG Go that's cool too!

All of a sudden my Pax is acting like it's locked - flashing red when I try to pull and not making vapor. The only problem is that it's unlocked on the app and I can't figure out how to get it to work. Anyone ever have this issue?
