My goal next year is to win a golden ticket then travel to USAP National Championship and get gold in 3.0 doubles. I have been playing pickleball for 4 years and haven't played single tournament. So now i want to take the plunge and become the best 3.0 player in the world.

Has anyone won gold in 3.0 division at the nationals? What type of training routine do you need to be able accomplish that? Do you need to master all the shots like backhand rolls, flicks, two handed counters, ATPs, DRIP/DROPs, etc? Whats the secret sauce in terms of skills to win gold at 3.0.

I have a new shot for courts that use moveable nets with a solid cross brace, the big square ones, on the bottom. With the Erne you leap over the NVZ to the sideline. With the walk the plank shot, you leap to the cross beam on the net. The key is that you need to bag the person before you land to end the live ball other wise it’s a fault for touching the net.

After you land you have to “walk the plank” back to the sideline and can’t touch NVZ due to momentum rules. This allows Erne type shot anywhere at the kitchen instead of along the sidelines. This makes almost every dink attackable.

I was serving today and ended up tripping right after I hit the serve. One of the kibitz became detached from my Crocs, and being the klutz that I am, I tripped over it. When I was falling to the ground with all my forward momentum, I threw my hands out to catch myself. My paddle went flying, skipped across the court, and ended up landing in the non-volley zone. My opponents called a kitchen fault. Was this the correct call?

11.I. Plane of the Net. Crossing the plane of the net prior to striking the ball is a fault. After striking the ball, a player or anything the player is/was wearing or carrying may cross the plane of the net. The player may not touch any part of the net system, the opponent’s court, or the opponent while the ball is still live.

For erne defense, can we just jump in front of the person doing the erne so they are forced to run into us after they cross the plane?

From the Ronbus announcement, it seems USAP implemented a new test yet there is no statement from USAP about. Seems they are going to decertify already approved paddles. Why is USAP not being forthcoming with information of what is happening? Do we have to just keep looking up our paddle on the USAP approved list everyday to find out if our paddle is still legal?

I have issues with delamination with paddles. In six months, i have crushed the core of three paddles. My current paddle went two weeks before i started getting the dreaded thunk sound while driving and pressing the sweet spot sounds like crinkling plastic. My goal is to find a raw carbon faced thermoformed paddle that can last six months without serious change in play. Any suggestions? Why is it a problem now with the core failing prematurely? sandwich paddles could go over a year without getting deadspots where the core was failing?

Gaming DUPR

Question

With more and more tournaments, round robins and leagues requiring DUPR scores, is there were a way to game it? Everyone talks about playing with your friends to artificially inflate your score.

But what if you just want more medals and trophies? How do I get the lowest DUPR score possible so i can go sandbag the lowest skill level brackets at tournaments? What is the lowest score possible?

So these paddles are approved by USA Pickleball but not for competition. I am going to guess they are all have foam cores and are too powerful. What are people’s thoughts on these paddles for rec play.

I noticed a purchase of Apple Music on my account yesterday. I checked iTunes receipts and it listed a device name of an old iPhone 7. I logged into Apple ID device list and saw an iPhone 7 listed on my account. Here’s where it gets weird. It was my original IPhone 7 that died and had the motherboard swapped on it. Plugging in the serial number into Apple SN lookup page says it’s no longer valid. Spent 3 hours and talked to 4 people on the phone with Apple today and they gave up trying to explain it and said it was a billing error. How do I verify it was a billing error and my old iPhone 7 isn’t floating around with all my personal info it?

Is there any way to see if Apple Music
