In the 1990s, I lived in Manhattan on 3rd and 9th, not in the same building as Joey Ramone, but basically across the street. A handful of times I saw him walk out of his building and straight into an Italian restaurant. I’m pretty sure it was on the ground floor of his building, but my memory is fuzzy on that detail. He’d sit alone in a corner, facing the wall, and a waiter would immediately bring him a huge plate of spaghetti, like it was a standing arrangement. Anyway, I love Joey. I’ve been a Ramones fan forever. I never bothered him, except once, when I gave him a quick nod hello. I would catch him shopping at St Marks as well at Kim's Video and Sounds, which was this awesome discount CD

I live in a hurricane-prone area. I'm not in a flood zone, but I always lose power when the storms come. I bought a Jackery 5000 to prepare myself ahead of time. I'm basically using it for a Refrigerator, smaller appliances (coffee, etc), computers, phones, etc. Also if I want to run a portable AC for a few hours here and there, so I bit the bullet with the 5000 Plus. With panels, I want a N-Cell and not flexible. It has to handle the hot humid sun. The Jackery SolarSaga 500X looked good on paper, but there seems to be a lot of talk about the accordion aspect of it and I don't want to end up rigging it flat with poles. I want something I can just take out of a case, unfold and plus in. T

I’m halfway through and loving this episode. It’s very Astonishing Legends- old school. Reminds me of the first few seasons. Amazing topic. That being said, Iron Maiden has an entire concept album called “Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.” It’s pretty popular in the metal world. Also, I have a manual 2018 VW golf and the shift for reverse is sill: down, to the left and up.

I’m looking for a low gain pedal for my board that plays well with Fender cleans. I am also looking for something that will boost the mids on a Muff, but I don’t want another Tube Screamer, Plumes or Klon. I have all those. None of those pedals sound great on their own with my rig. I want less harshness and something that does a decent low to mid gain overdrive. Mostly for classic rock to grunge. Thanks!
